Re: Machine failures
Is the DME going to repair the unit? What cost? It may be less expensive to pick up a comparable unit from one of the members who sell such things from time to time. Check out Second Wind as a possible source. If they tell you it is not economically repairable, what does your insurance company say ...

Re: Machine failures
In a twist of irony, the machine completely failed on me last night. I am unable to get it up and running again. Since this one is a loaner from the supply company I hesitant to up it up and check the connection/screw. How often do the machines get replaced from the insurance companies. I am hoping ...

Machine failures
I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with ResMaster Pro+ Cpap. My original unit I had about 4 years about 4000 hours on the blower and it started giving me problems. When I would turn it on I would get 3 small puffs of air then the machine would reboot itself. It would do this 3 times then ...

Help please., http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/2010/08/07/respironics-data-tutorial/ but some good stuff if you click ...

Re: help translating readout from Encore2
BTW just looks at the blog, thanks for writing things like that up. As a new comer to this its definitely confusing all the terms and readings.. Its great to be able to have someplace to go to get an understanding of it. I am honestly not really feeling much of a difference yet. I know it takes some...

help translating readout from Encore2
So I looked at this weeks graphs from Encore on how my theropy is going. I am very new at this and first time really looking at this. I was hoping to get a better indication of what some of these readings mean. Are they good/Bad and any thing that I can do to improve on them. http://i56.tinypic.com/...

Re: Question about REMstar Pro settings
I finally was able to find it... you need to highlight the setup menu, HOLD THE TURNWHEEL AND RAMP buttons for about 5-10 sec to get into the clinical menu to enable it.

Re: Question about REMstar Pro settings
• System leak - During any given night, the device recognizes the percentage of time the patient was experiencing what it deemed to be a large leak. Large leak is defined as the level of leak that is so large, it is no longer possible to determine respiratory events with statistical accuracy. This ...

Re: Question about REMstar Pro settings
First, make sure your machine is indeed a PRO and not a PLUS. The PR S1 PLUS only records compliance data. Second, if you do indeed have a PRO and can't find AHI under the Info menu, then it sounds as if the tech who set up the machine turned the Show AHI/Leak/PB setting to Off . You have to get in...
