Re: Taping mouth closed to breath through nose

Hi again I mentioned this only to raise awareness, not to have a confrontation. Possibly a coroners report will be needed to see if there has been taped mouth deaths. Maybe there is hospital reports of serious injuries related to the taping of the lips. I forgot to mention when I wrote earlier today...

Taping mouth closed to breath through nose

Hi there I have been thinking about what and how I was going to write here for over a month now. How should I word it, be polite and still be politically correct. Last week I had a scary experience that prompted me not to wait any longer. My thought was about those that tape their mouth closed so th...

Re: Do you tape your mouth or use a chin strap?

I use both, but got my Ultimate Chin Strap in the mail today!! Hopefully I won't have to use all three! Hi there I have been reading the occasional writeup here and I've seen where people actually tape their mouth closed so that they can breath through their nose. My concern is what if a person sne...

Re: why does the humidifer chamber need replacing so often?

I would also check to see if they make dishwasherable version as well. I had to get a special order from my doctor for one for my S9 autoset. I have to agree though. No need to replace that frequently. I let my insurance send me supplies on schedule until I got a good stock. Now that I am loosing m...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi there I am back again fully re-charged with more to my story. The mailorder company that I received the sample package from was already mentioned here by someone else. I chose not to mention it because there may be many such providers and there may not be much difference with each companies mater...

Re: doctor refuses to give prescription to buy online

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi there Thank you Kathy and Sereneh. Is the Buckeye State any relationship to the old Buckeye root beer? LOL Tomorrow is just another day in my life. I actually have lived all this time since Jan 28th 2005. That was a milestone when I was rescued by a cardiologist. Each day since then is very, very...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi there Originally I came here to try to help others with my experience of finding out that I had an alergic reaction to my full face and nose mask, both silcone based materials. I found a material that would isolate my skin from the silicone allowing me to find relief and pleasure in deep sleeping...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi Sereneh Thank you for the welcome back. One issue that I never mentioned before was the water evaporation problem. My unit holds a pint or two of water. The machine had displayed the number 5 when it first started up, for a few seconds at least. I decided at the beginning of the trial not to stra...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi again Well thank you, S, for the PM's. Now that I've had a few nights sleep. I'm sorry that I overreacted. Must be the table napkin alergy that I've developed. LOL A problem I am having is, I cannot see the twinkle in your eyes, smile upon your face or frown upon your brow when I'm reading the re...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

I don't feel particularly aroused with the <snip> the hose hanging down the front of me... I don't know what kind of mask you're using, but perhaps you could attach the hose above your head, which you might find more arousing. P.S. I hope you don't mind my having some fun with your posts, which hav...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi Purple and Sireneh Thank you both for your comments. "Breafast of Champions", sure had me laughing. When I first went to IRS, Monica, told me it takes about 2 - 3 months of dedicated usuage to feel the full benefit of CPAP system. It does no good just sitting in the closet. Many years ago, Consum...

Re: Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi again I forgot to mention that I also tried a woman's facial mask. For you men. This is a gel that you apply over your skin and in about 20 minutes or so you have a thin flexible film on your skin. You peel off this film and your skin feels real fresh again. Unfortunately it did not dry thick eno...

Extremely Painful Journey To Happier Ending

Hi there I'm just testing to see if once I've posted my story that I can return to edit it and for how long. Vern Well I can find and return to my draft at least. My story. I live in Vancouver BC, born and raised here in fact. I am now 64 years old. I had a pacemaker installed in Dec 2005 with two l...
