Re: How often you guys switch out hoses?
I swap out my hose on the same schedule I swap out everything.... when it doesn't function properly anymore. If my hose doesn't have any leaks, if my hose doesn't slip off the mask connection, etc... I see no reason to needlessly contribute to the state of the landfills. Copy that PaleRider - sound...

How often you guys switch out hoses?
Haven't posted on here for a long time - amazed I even remembered the password (it wasn't password or 1234 so that killed most of my usual options - got lucky) I have a dreamstation something or other with the heated humidorfyer - actually have two because Alaska Airlines lost the first on I got com...

Way OT: Learnt some stuff.....
1 yr + with Facehugger - woohooo - still sucks....ATTENTION NEWBIES: some people may never get "comfortable" with these machines, still miss sleeping facedown, toting it around while traveling is annoying, the expected benefits may never live up to expectations. That said, bound and determined to st...

Re: Anyone want to know how Marijuana affects OSA & Cpap?
I live in Washington State - voters here just passed to legalize MJ for recreational use - goes into effect on Dec. 6. Lame attempt at a little dark political humor - don't think I'll be partaking with a house full teenagers - good example and all that. That said, if inquiring minds want to know - I...

Anyone want to know how Marijuana affects OSA & Cpap?

Any takers? - no, really, legal or not, Wifey is not going to be down with smoking the ganja unless I can come up with some reason to justify partaking. Haven't smoked the c...

Facehugger got stolen by a freaking tweaker
Using an old back-up machine (DeVilbiss) I got off Craigslist. So, the snowpack in the Cascades has receded enough to open all the passes, Wifey and I loaded up the Vette and headed up into the mountains for the Weekend - I particularly like to hammer that old Vette up through Chinook Pass and into ...

Re: Off Topic, but on my mind, Speeding tickets
When my dad was working as a cop (between ranch jobs), he had to deal with a horrible wreck where one of my classmates was killed. I will spare you the gory details, but it stayed with him for a long time. I hear ya - Pops and three of my uncles did tours in 'Nam - they don't talk about it much tho...

Re: Off Topic, but on my mind, Speeding tickets
By the way the cop is only doing his job. Only took one post. saying it is your job don't make it right Boss Cool Hand Luke No need to defend LE - this was not a slam or indictment of any police, they are like any other group of people - some good, some bad, none perfect. I got a ticket once for de...

Off Topic, but on my mind, Speeding tickets
Got a ticket a couple weeks ago. I am not a guy that can talk my way out of a ticket – if a trooper pulls me over, he's going to write me up one way or the other, I just have to try not to make it worse by opening my mouth. That said, I got nailed doing 80 mph in a 70 on my way (late) to a golf tee-...

Damn, most retarded sunburn, EVER!!!
Ok, have learned my lesson about trying to strap on the facehugger when you have a sunburn - not pleasant, especially peeling it off the next morning. So now, first really nice weekend of the year - on Sat. got in an early round of golf, got home mowed the lawn and had a couple of beers while mowing...

Booger-Pillow eardrum blow-out question
The Facehugger mask collection is coming along nicely now, latest addition is my first booger-pillow mask, the Aloha. Got it Tuesday (poker night – official non-compliance night, find if I have more than two or three beers the mask only survives a couple of hours during my nocturnal gyrations) So la...
