I guess you guys never change the oil in your car ? I mean it runs thru a filter so it should never get dirty. Just change your filter every so often. I don't think resmed would tell you to clean your CPAP just to give a guy a job writing it in the user guide.

Thanks Hardav04 for finding the official resmed user guide. It says to wash my heated tubing in warm water with mild detergent and allow it to completely dry.And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I don't understand why some of you guys would not do this simple cleaning of your Cpap as the manufac...

Thanks for all the replies. I was mainly concerned about getting the electrical connections wet. As far as the way I cleaned my non-heated air hose (washing with mild soap and letting it sit in a water- vinegar solution) that was the written instructions I got with my original CPAP. cleaning heated air hose
I've got a new C-PAP machine with the heated air hose. I used to clean my unheated air hose by rinsing it out then soaking it in vinegar water and hanging it to air dry. Can I use the same method for this heated air hose? I was worried about damaging it by submersing in water.
