SLEEP NUMBER MATTRESS OWNERS - WHICH SERIES MODEL?
We've been considering purchasing a SLEEP NUMBER BED. I'm the one with sleep apnea and sleep on my side and experience discomfort and pressure points with our current mattress. I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the SLEEP NUMBER Mattress/Bed. I've also heard that it is advisable - if you c...

Will Medicare Cover A Prescription for "Heated Tubing"?
I have the Resmed 9Series... my doctor has just prescribed for me the "heated tubing" for the unit. I know Medicare covers the regular tubing, but wondered if anyone could tell me if they will also cover the heated one.

Re: FX Swift Mask & Being Awoken by the Blasts of Air Pressure
The purpose of the exhaust vent is to flush your exhaled breath out so that you don't re-breathe it. Re-breathing can load you up on carbon dioxide and cause problems. H oseCrusher... thank you! I was looking at the vent tonight.. and playing around with placing a piece of gauze over it... and then...

Re: FX Swift Mask & Being Awoken by the Blasts of Air Pressure
Are you being titrated at home, or is there some other reason your machine is running "wide open" (4 to 20)? Hopefully your doctor has plans to determine your ideal pressure range and narrow that pressure range down. When it is set wide open like that, the machine has to "chase" the events, so it g...

FX Swift Mask & Being Awoken by the Blasts of Air Pressure
I'm now on my 6th or 7th week of CPAP with the FX Swift Mask and the ResMed S9 AutoSet. I've been diagnosed with "mild" apnea. I'm definitely sleep better... or a better description would be more "solidly".. even tho I am still awakening in the night... but the intervals have shifted from 2 to 3 ho...

MATTRESS TOPPER INPUT/RECOMMENDATIONS
I am aware that this subject has been discussed previously, but I am looking for, perhaps, more recent developments, experience and feedback. And, specifically, would like to locate reputable and fair-priced resources from whom I can purchase a visco memory foam mattress topper... a well as one who...

No tags on the pillow--so went to the website. My pillow is the neck pillow--it's contoured.

Re: Pillow Recommendations Using The Swift FX Mask
Cobra, Thanks... I've already have discovered that the difficulties to mask adjustment become more specific over time... more intrusive in your sleep. Other words, initially the experience was general. Last night was a breakthrough with mask adjustments/fit... primarily due to reading a detailed un...

Pillow Recommendations Using The Swift FX Mask
I'm just completing my 3rd week on CPAP... and adjusting slowly.. but definitely moving forward. So, I'm looking at the various ways I can increase my ease in falling asleep and one of them is definitely changing out the pillow... which has been pure goose down. But now with the mask gear, it is no...
