Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 problem

Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 problem
It has the correct dates in the calander, says it downloaded correctly, yet it still only goes to Feb. 28th. I am guessing that I got another bad data card.

Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 problem
So I have been downloading the new data card and the reports not go past Feb. 28th. It downloads from the card fine(which was the problem before) yet it will not go past the 28th. Is there a date reset in the software some where? On the main page it says it is downloading to the 11th but it does not...

Re: Encore Viewer 2.0 problem
I just got back from the DME, it was a bad data card. I am glad it was that and not the software. The error would pop up when I tried to download the data card.

Encore Viewer 2.0 problem
I cannot change the date range for the reports. When I plug in the data card it says 'corrupt file and is unreadable". The lastest it will go is Feb. 28th. Is this a problem with the dates or do you think my data card is bad?

Re: might a chinstrap alone help some people?
That is interesting. I wish I could take another sleep study, this time with a chinstrap and something to keep me from sleeping on my back, and see what my results would be(it would be a longshot to think it would be better). I may just try this at home just to see how I feel the next day.

Re: Chin straps available
LSAT, when I use a FFM and open my mouth during sleep, I wake up everytime. Nucleus, have you tried a FFM that fits under the chin? I am going to try that next and see if that helps me with my mouth opening, as I want to get away from wearing a chinstrap.

Re: Vibatory Snore
I have been turning the HH up due to the dry winter conditions we have been having, that may have made the snoring #'s worse. My AHI #'s are not bad but I have not felt rested the last few days.

Re: Vibatory Snore
Leaks are on the high side but the line stays pretty even. The AHI was really good on the 57.3 one(.6) but was 5.5 on the 35.3(VS). I never thought of the hose rubbing, I wonder if that could be the reason. I think I will bump up the pressure a bit. Thanks.

Vibatory Snore
I have been getting some high numbers on this(35.3 last night and 57.3 Friday night). Why would someone get high numbers on that? Is maybe my pressure to low?

Re: Sleep Doc Liked My Data
Here you go. You can see the areas of erratic breathing. From that you can get the start and end times, and the go into your xPAP software and note what was happening with your breathing during those times. It takes some digging, but the data is there. Usually any events I have are associated withi...

[quote="Slartybartfast As I wrote above, my Doc said that having oximetry data is the best practical way to verify that your therapy is doing what it's supposed to do, outside of having another sleep study. Re: Sleep Doc Liked My Data
Thats great that you stay on top of your therapy. Just curious, is it common for the average patient to use a oximeter at home? Do you think more should do so? The average patient? No. but there are a bunch of us who check our oximetry from time to time. Not every night, just once in a while. It's ...
