I've travelled extensively, internationally with my cpap machine for 6 years. I would not recommend doing without the machine unless you are going to be in a location without any electricity. You may not be doing anything "wrong". As others have mentioned your activity level may now be higher than you are used to. You may also wish to have your regular doctor check your TSH levels.
