Thanks for the replies everyone.
The sleep study was done thru a Respiratory and sleep physician. My Gp thinks i should be talking to an ent specialisit to see whether or not i have any mild blockages that can be fixed thru surgery.
I'm trying to attach my sleep study files now.

AHI changed dramatically
I was diagnosed with severe OSA in 2009, the numbers were 97/hr for AHI and oxygen was 82% at lowest. I have complied with cpap treatment ever since. I have however lost close to 30 kilos(66 lbs i think). My GP (general practitioner) requested a new sleep study which i did couple of weeks ago, the n...

Re: Airway Full Scan
I would like to see how my insides actually look. possibly get an idea of how narrow things are or even the structure of my palate and beyond, and then maybe compare it to a person whose not on therapy.

Airway Full Scan
Has anyone done a full scan to the upper airway? not talking about the camera they use to look inside your nose. A full scan septum and all. Can the scan reveal how bad someone's airways are as oppose to the titration.

Re: Sleepless with my CPAP
It will get better. Give it time. The worst thing you can do is give up on it.

Re: Full mask or Nasal mask for heart patients?
Thanks for the replies.
I feel FFM will get you breathing easier every time where a nasal mask at times feels like your waiting for air to come through, that alone can put a bit of stress on the heart that heart patients can do without.
what you guys think

Full mask or Nasal mask for heart patients?
Hi everyone
I've been using a nasal mask for the past year or so, prior to that i was on full mask for two years.
I recently had two stents put in. I'm worried that a nasal mask can be putting the heart under stress especially when there is a congestion.
Any thoughts.
Thanks
