Need advise: about selling old sleep device
Hi, Has anyone sold their old sleep device? I was recently [unfortunately] upgraded to ResMed VPAP IPAP ST-A model due the increased severity of sleep apnea. I was earlier using Resmed VPAP Adapt SV ( http://www.resmed.com/us/products/vpap_adapt_sv/vpap-adapt-sv.html ) which I no longer need. It is ...

Re: Resmed VPAP ST-A hidden commands, etc.
Sorry, I meant ResMed VPAP ST-A machine. Does anyone know any hidden commands (or sequence of buttons, etc. to push) to get additional data out (like daily stats (# of leaks occurred, avg pressure, # of hours device used in last session). I think manual will not list these things that are only acces...

Resmed VPAP ST-A hidden commands, etc.
Hi, I just received new ResMed VPAP-ST machine. I hear that it's pretty advance and new model. I will be learning its features in upcoming days/weeks. I have quick questions: 1. Does ResScan [4.3] work with ResMed VPAP-ST machine? 2. Does anyone know hidden commands (key combinations) to get additio...

Re: problem downloading data from Resmed Adapt SV...
Nope. You might need to reinstall the ResScan software. I suspect the previous driver they had with ResScan to read the machine data is not compatible with Windows 7. Doing a reinstall should do the trick. Of course, finding the latest version might be another battle. Well, I moved over to Windows ...

Folks, I've not downloaded data from my unit on to PC in about 4-5 months. Now, it's time to download it. I am having problems downloading data from ResdMed Adapt SV unit into ResScan. I updated my Windows OS and it no longer recognizes the unit. I seem to have totally forgotten how I used to do thi...

how often humidifier [water] chamber should be replaced?
Hi, The insurance provides new humidifier [water] chamber for my ResMed Adapt SV every 3 months. Question: How often should it be replaced? There's certainly small co-pay involved in receiving it, so unless it needs to be changed routinely, I am not sure if I want to pay for it every 3 months. Thank...

Re: Should I switch off Resmed Adapt SV daily?
hmm, I just called ResMed (+1 (858) 836-5000) and the tech support stated that I don't need to leave the main unit ON all the time. However, I do recall calling ResMed some months ago asking the same question and vaguely remember being told by tech support to keep it ON all the time. As w/ many othe...

Re: Should I switch off Resmed Adapt SV daily?
As always, great advise and prompt response, JohnBFisher. Thanks. Yes, I use humidifier everyday. I wish there was a cap/cover available for the vent opening of Adapt SV main unit so when I detach humidifier and switch the main unit off, I can prevent dust, etc. particles going inside the main unit f...

Should I switch off Resmed Adapt SV daily?
Hi, I've heard that if you have humidifier attached to ResMed Adapt SV (I suppose other sleep appliance too), you suppose to keep Adapt SV plugged in and switch it on ALL the time. I think this is to keep air circulation going and to avoid moister seeping into Adapt SV unit which might potentially d...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
Initial feedback based on 4 days of use: - Fewer leaks than I used to get with Mirage Quattro - Fewer parts of mask to deal with (for cleaning, etc.) and bit smaller in than Quattro. I use small size. - I still get slightly sore and redness on nose. I am new to full face mask (less than a month since...
