Re: Switched my machine to Auto
Typically if you have a good sleep study with sound data, a static pressure that worked well for you may be chosen for the device. I just switched to an auto one as your body changes with weight and age so can you need for pressure, more or less. Under the auto method you can monitor the data over w...

Central Apnea common?
Hello On my S9 data, once or twice a week a central apnea will show up with an index of .03 or less. While my total apnea index is usually under 1.0, from your experience do you think the S9 is really accurate enough to detect a central apnea and how common is it for obstructive apnea paients to a h...

Re: Understanding leak report
I just switched to an S9 to where I can monitor my sleep and have noticed avg leak rates over 30. Suspecting mouth breathing I tried a chin strap for the first time last night and leak was down below 5. I am hoping I can retrain myself to keep my mouth closed so I dont have to wear the strap forever

Downside of the hybrid mask?
Hello - for those that have to switch from pillows to mask, is there a disadvantage of a hybrid? It sounds like the mask not hitting the bridge of the nose in the hybrid would be a big benefit?

Re: Mouth breathing?
I see, thought smilley might be an over all rating not just a point in time check.
Since I never feel any leaks, am correct in thinking mouth breathing will register as leaks? Thanks

Mouth breathing?
Hello I am on my 2nd week with the S9 and the leak rate continues to be high 40-60 with AHI under 1. Currently using Nasal pillows and will wake with a dry mouth. Last night I woke up short on air as the S9 had shut off ( I have the autostart on) I believe it though I had taken the mask off as I was...

Re: Getting ready for first night with S9
I can see after 10 years of using a CPAP at 10 that its going to take little while to adjust to the s9 auto. Only slept for about 3 hours and the reading was .04. Didnt really like the exhale reduction so will turn that off tonight.

Getting ready for first night with S9
Hello. After 10 Years on an S6, going with an S9 Auto tonight. I hope to make the transation as restful as possible so was hoping a few experienced S9 users could help with their experience below. 1). What did you find best for the EPR setting 2). How did you decide on temp, auto or manually set 3)....
