Re: Need Resmed Liberty Mask parts
That's it! But when I go there it says "not in stock" both under the quantity and also in a big red box.

Need Resmed Liberty Mask parts
After years of looking I settled into the Resmed Liberty mask - it's a hybrid mask with pillows in the nostrils and a mask covering the mouth. They've recently discontinued it, however! I have loads of parts of them, and was hoping to stretch it out a few more years. There's ONE swivel part that att...

Boil the mask parts in distilled water and baking soda every few weeks. Honestly good as new.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:38 amGood catch! Resmed does not intend their silicone parts to last much beyond their
MINIMUM replacement period.

Hybrid mask leaking nasal pillows - would humidifier help?
Been using Resmed Liberty hybrid for years now - I generally breathe thru my mouth when asleep and could never get used to the air and leaks around my nose with a full face mask. But the nasal pillows very often get wet and slip around by early morning - even when I’m able to sleep well they wake me...

Wow. Thx! I also belong to MyApnea.org. I am copying the response to someone who has it below. Also, the link to the full post. I tested the link...slow. https://myapnea.org/forum/first-steps-for-inspire-therapy-coming-up/1#comment-1995 Dr. Thompson tested me and confirmed that I was a good candidat...

Inspire Therapy - upper airway stimulation implants
Found an old thread on this but wondering if anyone has explored further. My sleep doc suggested it today but I'd have to get down to the US to do it. The fact that the old thread has a lot of committed CPAP users bashing it and no one using it may actually mean that it works and gets one off of CPA...

Re: Doctors combine CPAP treatment with oral appliance therapy
This worked for me. CPAP pressure down 4 or 5 using oral appliance.
Then after a few years I couldn't close my mouth properly.
Back on CPAP only, with a high pressure and jury-rigged manner of keeping it strapped to my face.

Re: Five years of lessons - CPAP and oral appliance
Hey - sorry I haven't checked in. Of COURSE - had about two weeks of unbelievably bad sleep following the week or so of good sleep prior to writing this. Re: Vaseline, I just use it in the morning so that my nose isn't itchy all day. I'm sure there's some left by the time I go to sleep and use the n...

Five years of lessons - CPAP and oral appliance
It's been about five years (OK, maybe ten) since I started CPAP, and at this point I MOSTLY know what works and wanted to share it with people starting out. First, normal sleep hygiene matters. If you've been living with OSA, you likely already have figured out how to block out extraneous noises, li...

Does CPAP cause acid reflux?
Been on CPAP for a few years now. Mostly good luck, with a few setbacks. Lately I've been waking with terrible acid reflux. Zantac helps, but not always even taken prior to sleep. Never had an issue with reflux before, and my diet is pretty steady. Does forcing air down your throat via CPAP actually...
