Re: Quattro Fx Defect?

I purchased a new Quattro FX after trialling it for a few weeks. The first night drove me mad with the squeak! I took the mask into the shower with me and washed it with a bit of hair shampoo - worked a treat, no more squeaks!

Re: Update on F&P Software...or lack of

Guys, i feel very strongly about this and want to say a heap more, but with the earthquake here and the death toll rising by the day, my focus is on other things. These F&P machines are made in New Zealand and I intend to campaign to get the infosmart software available for purchase. I am lucky enou...

Re: devastation in New Zealand

Hi guys, There's some pretty amazing people in here. Your support is so much appreciated. There have definitely been lots of tears in my house!! Marietjie, I am sure you are so pleased to have your daughter and her family back home again. I was speaking to a work colleague today from our branch in c...

Re: devastation in New Zealand

Thank you for your support. My brother and niece have both been found alive. They are both injured, but their injuries are thankfully not life threatening. New Zealand has now declared a national state of emergency - the first time this has happened in NZ's history. There's just no reason that can m...

Re: devastation in New Zealand

I am safe and well as I live in the North island of NZ, however my brother and neice are still missing, feared trapped in one of the buildings down there. No one has slept over night and the aftershocks are coming thick and fast about every 45 minutes. They're not small aftershocks, the smallest one...

devastation in New Zealand

I just can't believe what i am seeing - 65 confirmed dead already just a short 7 hours after the devastating quake - the death toll is expected to more than double as hundreds of people remain trapped in buildings. thousands left homeless - it is honestly like watching a movie. Definitely New Zealan...

Re: New apap with sense awake..driving me crazy!

hmmmm, I kinda like the sense awake - I also have fairly high pressures, so when and if i do wake up during the night, the sense awake drops the pressure back down to my starting pressue. I dont have trouble with facial swelling and I much prefer the apap to the cpap. I'm using the quattro fx ffm - ...

Re: Surgery for Sleep Apnea

I also had the surgery in august 2009, to be perfectly honest, I would rather have a baby a day for a month than go through that experience again - and it didn't help my apnoea. sorry I can't be more encouraging, but please do lots of research before you decided whether or not to go ahead and have t...

Re: Mod needed in chat right now

what a shame a few idiots have to ruin it for everyone. I have learnt so much by being in the chat room and have met some really neat people. surely there must be an administrator for this site? i would happily be a chat moderator if i had admin rights and kick out the troublemakers!

Re: Quattro FX FFM now available in US

Hi Paul,
sorry, I led you up the garden path a bit - that was more a fitting guide than a sizing guide! Yes, my mask size in the FX was the same as the original Quattro mask.

Re: Quattro FX FFM now available in US

I am a relatively new CPAP user (since November) I trialled the Quattro mask with the "dial" on the forehead and managed for about 3 weeks - just kept getting constant leaks and a very sore nose. I've been using the new FX model now since 2nd Dec and no more sore nose! I still have some minor leak i...

Re: The wait is over - my CPAP Prescription is ready

Good luck in your trial!! Hopefully you will be like me - I have gone from being a tired old hag to feeling like a spring chicken!! Even though I feel like an astronaut when I head off to bed at nights - its definitely worth it. Luckily here in NZ we dont need to go through the rigmarole of getting ...
