Stick with it. It can take a lot of trial and error before things settle down. I'm in year 3 and have had issues all along. I wash hoses, mask, and plastic chamber once a week. I start with fresh distilled water at the beginning of the week, which will last me three nights, and add more as needed till the next weekend.

I have always been a fairly heavy sleeper. Surprised when I found out I had apnea after breathing complications during oral surgery.
