Re: SleepyHead Qt v0.8 alpha
Although this is Mac related. The changes in OSX Lion will cause a number of problems for many third-party applications and development tools. Specifically Apple has chosen to change compilers and this will cause problems for many things. Many of the portions of MacPorts will be a while before they ...

Re: Building SleepyHead for Mac OS X 10.6 from Source Code
Troy, does the Mac version you prefer install the multiple dependencies of QT? MacPorts does so automatically when QT is installed. I dare say that, for the average non-programmer like me, it would be essentially impossible to figure out all the other software packages that are necessary, and to in...

Re: Building SleepyHead for Mac OS X 10.6 from Source Code
I would highly recommend not using the Qt version from MacPorts, but instead use the version that is available natively for the Mac. There is no need to have to build Qt using MacPorts to build and/or develop using the SleepyHead source code. The native version for Mac, as well as Windows or Linux, ...

Re: Any Canadians out there
... Not to mention the very similar ludicrous prices of machines at every supplier in Canada Thank goodness I`ve adapted well to the therapy, the only positive part of my experience so far. My insurance doesn`t cover these machines, so the price is a bit of an issue for me, and where I live there a...

Re: Data "Skew" on S9 Series
The so-called "data skew bug" appears to be absent in the current alpha of SleepyHeadQT. Mark was very busy overnight. When I loaded my S9 Elite data this morning (the first time!), from an SD card that has not been reformatted in about a month, my events from last night (albeit only 3) were PERFEC...

Re: Doc says 20% don't get better on CPAP
As one of those "brain damaged" people I had that very discussion with my doctor when I was first diagnosed. I was told that I should see initial changes with heart rate, blood pressure, and metabolism in the first 3-4 weeks. I was told that then over the next 4-6 months and up to a year I should se...

Re: Many Have Been Frustrated/Angry with Me
I have not been on here posting as often as I would like but keep tabs on things from time to time. I have chatted with you online and seen your many threads where you go through some very rough times, often wishing I had some answers. At no time did I find you, or your situation, frustrating other ...

Re: Battery Review: N-C18500 Li-Ion CPAP Battery
Having worked a number of years in the battery industry I would add the following for the (any) Li-ION pack - keep temperature below 45 degrees C, even in storage (try to avoid direct sunlight) as battery capacity will be degraded and can not be fully recovered - never charge unattended. Even with t...

Re: What's been happening with SleepyHead. A progress report.
I thought I would let everyone know I am making good progress with the ResMed data handling for the S9. I am currently able to read all the necessary files for daily summary as well as detailed waveform data, although the event handling still needs a bit of work. There are still a few technical deta...

The ResMed data support for SleepyHead is getting very close and will be work on Mac, Linux and Windows with my major development being done on a Mac at this time.Breathe Jimbo wrote:Keep an eye out for SleepyHead, currently in rapid development. SleepyHead - ResMed data file request
As many are already aware, the new project SleepyHead which supports the PRS1 XPAP machine data, is also planned to support other machine data types. I also expect that many ResMed users are anxiously awaiting support for their data. I am making good progress with handling the ResMed data files and ...

Re: SleepyHead: Updated Version 0.7-3700 Alpha
I have not been as frequent at posting here as some but am working away in the background testing things on the Mac and passing information along. The app has been developed to behave the same, and offer an almost identical user experience (some bugs differ) on Linux, Windows, and Mac operating syst...

Re: SleepyHead: Updated Version 0.7-3070 Alpha
WOW, this is the first time I open SleepyHead, I said WOW and WOW. Thanks jedimark and Troy, this is really good. Have you thought at the possibility to make a cursor as Resscan has (the vertical line we can move) to analyze an event on all the graph at the same time? Bravo, it's good, good , good....

Re: Lets talk about our avatars!
Mine is a pic I grabbed from the net but depicted exactly how I felt when I first joined this forum. Now after 152 days (but who's counting) of successful xPAP treatment I must say that I no longer feel the same, but now do have a deeper respect for how important sleep is. Perhaps I will change my a...
