I was being treated for severe OSA for 6 years (first tested at about 28 interruptions per hour) and when I changed cities my regular Dr advised I get another sleep study done. In short, I received a false negative and now I don't receive any assistance from my insurance company. The false negatives...

oh, and my last point... even if you are tempted early on... I would advise against taking any sleep medications. For the most part they do not help in anyway... they certainly don't address the apnea, most medications in fact will make for more apneas per hour.
