Did you take your machine to the doc, or did he change the pressure on the card? The doc changed the pressure om the card. He blocked all settings so i took my machine to dme. I tried removing the humidifier and putting it back in but it was still loud last night. I actually slept without using my machine last night.

Robysue, thanks. Yes i have read those threads as well. My hose is over my head ( i use a hose mgmt) and is not really touching my pillow. I checked over and over because what you discussed about sound conducting in solids made sense.
