using a borrowed machine
My neighbor has sleep apnea but he does not have insurance therefore can not afford a sleep study. My CPAP machine is set at 11 pressure. Could it hurt my neighbor to use my machine at 11? My thought was, better to have something than nothing. What do you think?

I changed my nasal pillows mask to a Mirage Liberty w/nasal pillows mask and my cold symptoms are completely gone!!!! Thanks to the member (KimberlyM) that suggested a different mask. I guess the pressure was too great on me just wearing a nasal pillows mask.

For us older ladies that fix our hair the day before going out, how in the world do you wear your CPAP the night before without messing up your hair? Does anyone have any suggestions on this topic?

I was having severe "cold" symptoms from the day that I added oxygen to my CPAP on a daily basis. KimberlyM (member in this group) suggested that I use a different mask. My stats went to 58 just at night therefore was put on Oxygen (2 liters) at night with CPAP. My pulmonologist checks my O2 every three months. New at all of this CPAP stuff - just curious - what is XPAP?

I think I was bad this year because Santa brought me a CPAP machine pressured at 20!!! for Christmas.

Newbie CPAP w/Oxygen having severe cold symptoms
I started CPAP about 2 months ago - everything going pretty well until added 2 liters of oxygen just at night about 4 weeks ago. I wake up every morning with a severe cold/sinus problem. I have tried the nasal spray, saline solutions and every over the counter cold/allergy medicine - with NO resolut...
