Re: Poll: What mask type do you use?
Sleepweaver and FX for her, switching back and forth every month or so. Wanted an Elan last time I ordered a mask, but the DME said they couldn't get it; will try again this round and if they still can't get it I'll consider changing DME. Also would like to try the Bella loops eventually.

Re: Best mask for a child?
I just got an announcement that Sleepweaver has new headgear that adjusts to a wider variety of head sizes, you might check with them and see if this would work better for your child than the one he tried and didn't like.

Re: OT: Electronic Medical Records
My care is through a university hospital, and I have access to my electronic records through a system called MyChart. I can check appointments, see what my blood pressure, weight, etc. have been over time, see when a surgery took place years ago, whatever. Can email my doctors with questions and the...

Re: I just washed my mask and I can't do a THING with it!
I've always washed my Sleepweaver without taking it apart. However, the RT at my DME told me she had to make a house call to a client who lives some distance away, they took the components completely apart and then couldn't get it back together again! (I was impressed that house calls were an option...

Re: Cpap supplies, delivered or mailed by DME's?
When I started with Apria a couple of years ago, I had to call them for supplies (which generally were delivered to my home the next day). Within the past year or so, they've been calling me if I don't think of it first. This was especially convenient when it was time for a new mask as we could disc...

Re: cpap soft mask
I think you are talking about a Sleepweaver. Outasync, sorry it didn't work out for you. I've used Swift LT, FX, Sleepweaver, all were okay, in fact my most recent mask is a second Sleepweaver. Just a general note, while it's fine for a poster to say that a mask didn't work for him/her, I wish we wo...

Re: Do you take your machine to doctor's appointments?
Oops, sorry, I go to see a sleep doctor, housed in the neurology clinic at a big teaching hospital. Same place I had the sleep study done (but a different building).

Re: Do you take your machine to doctor's appointments?
They ask me to bring it in once a year, and they run some checks on it. I had thought they were just checking to see that the pressure delivered was correct, but don't really know.

Re: Sleep Profiler Quiz
Amazingly, I scored 93%. I think I did something wrong? Or perhaps I'm just not an energetic person (sounds better than "lazy") and I'm not suffering from lack of sleep, but from lack of exercise. I do feel tired-ish during the day, but never doze off unless I actually go to bed in the afternoon. Th...

Re: Pillow masks and motorcycle traveling
I laid out my Sleepweaver and Swift FX side by side and took a picture, but then couldn't figure out how to put it in a post. I can roll up the Sleepweaver and cup it in my two hands with nothing sticking out (I'm female, smallish hands), can't do that with the FX. Might get you one more pair of soc...

Re: Pillow masks and motorcycle traveling
My Sleepweaver is the tiniest to pack, even more so than the FX, but not everyone likes it. And the FX is almost as small, so if that works well for you it would be a good choice.

Re: Sleep Weaver --- CLOTH!! Mask????
Snowed in today so I've been hanging out with the computer, and had fun reading this long historical thread. I've been a CPAP user almost exactly 2 years, an ENT surgeon thought my throat looked like I had sleep apnea, I didn't believe him as I had no symptoms as far as I could tell. But the sleep s...

Re: SleepWeaver mask
Next-to-last mask was a Sleepweaver, I was tempted and got a Swift FX, planning on a new Sleepweaver when I'm eligible again. Very comfortable, easy to clean, the best I've found so far.

Re: How happy are you with your mask?
I've had 4 masks, in this order: Swift LT, Swift LT for Her, Sleepweaver, Swift FX. They've all been okay, but I'm planning on another Sleepweaver when I'm eligible to order again. Used them all just as they came, no personalized additions or tweaks.
