I just got a system one after using an older model for 9 years and it is much noisier than the older model ... They have decibel ratings for all the models and I think the pr 1 is supposed to be around 29 or 30 ... The quieter s9 model is 24 decibels ... You can hear a recording of the PR System One...

Hi This is just a vent/rant. Have to do it somewhere and the family is not on this list! Sleeping is down to 4 hours a night and I.Can't.Sleep.IN!!! The only changes you should make are in the patient menu and relate to ramp time, C-Flex, A-Flex, etc... which doesn't compromise therapy. And then of course there are plenty of folks whose machines were set up in such a way that they, the patient had no access to C-Flex, A-Flex, ramp, etc. that do...
