Re: Firefighter new to cpap, in need of some help.
Hi, If you are going to try something different, I suggest the Swift FX. (I can't figure how to put in a link but I think you can click on it from my signature area.) It is a nasal pillow type and has minimum contact with your face. I use one and I am very satisfied with it. Sometimes I wake up and ...

You think not so much, huh? Just a newbie's wishful thinking!
Still, hopefully Viewer will be easier than Pro. Jais

Re: I cannot install Encore Pro; can you help?
Jim,
That was my thinking too. With viewer, I can get some support from Respironics. With Pro, I'd be on my own.
Hopefully it will arrive soon and I can see what is going on night to night.

Re: I cannot install Encore Pro; can you help?
Update: I just ordered Encore Viewer so I don't need to figure out Encore Pro. Thanks for reading! Janis

I cannot install Encore Pro; can you help?
Hi, I have a Respironics System One CPAP and been trying to install Encore Pro software on my computer. I've tried to install both the 2.2 and 2.4 versions. I tried on two different computers each with Windows XP. First, I saved the program from the link I was provided (using my computer at work) on...

Re: Hello, I'm new
Linda, Yes, I've already realized that I can get more help here than from my DME. Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to be our own advocate and could just sit back and be sure we were being taken care of? I guess those days were over when we started kindergarten. I was first given a full face mas...

Which version of Encore Pro can I use?
Hi,
My CPAP is a PR System One Remstar Pro with C-Flex Plus. I have a Dell computer running Windows XP. Since it is older, I assume it is a 32 bit.
Can someone tell me which version of Encore Pro I need?
Thanks! Janis

Re: Hello, I'm new
Thanks for the responses! I am going to get the software and talk to the RT at my DME provider.
I think I'll get a lower and upper lip piercing and a little padlock to prevent my mouth from opening. Or maybe not.

Re: Hello, I'm new
Rosacer, Thanks for taking the time to respond. Yes, I had a titration. The pressure was taken up to 11 but the summary report states that at above 9 central events occurred. So I assume that is why they settled on 9. Is that what you mean by 90% of the titration level? I do sleep most of the night ...

Hello, I'm new
Hi, I have been visiting your site for a couple of months and finally registered so I can begin posting. I've been using a CPAP with a setting of 9cm since mid October. I had problems with compliance until I switched from a full face mask to a Swift FX. The new mask is comfortable; some nights I for...
