Your english is fine, probably better than mine. So how are you managing with your equipment ??. I have found this to be a very helpful site. Best wishes in your therapy. I have learn that this is a diagnosis that is fluid, things ,and condition change from time to time. You have to be a advocate fo...

Reading post lead to more questions
First let me thank you fine people for your replies. I believe in the notion of collective wisdom. You have enabled me to beleive i can straighten out the issue and get back to using my PAP. 1.) I have read that alot of the DME do not follow orders.( DME ??) is the actual acronym for, my guess, Dist...

Re: New here, Not to CPAP
Muse-inc, thanks for all the info. The nasal irrigater sounds like something to look into. It seems what ever I do currently it only last about 4 hours, then I wake up from the slow build up of restriction. I am just beginning to investigate APAP and FFM options or a hybrid as you said. I also am on...

Re: New here, Not to CPAP
Julie, cflame1 and Mary Z thanks for your response. I have a heated humidifier and a cold pass. The truth is I use them very little. I do not tolerate humidity very well. If I put the heated unit in the lowest setting I feel like I cannot get a satisfying breath. The most I usually do is put some wa...

Re: ResMed S9 and external power/UPS supply
From what I have read as soon as you talk about a Pure sine or true sine wave UPS it states it is a "medical grade" UPS. A pure sine wave inverter, and a marine deep cycle battery is the way to go if you want a extended run time. The key here is you CANNOT use a modified sine wave inverter or UPS. F...

Re: Has someone had the same problems...???
When I have had dizziness after awaking, and feeling fuzzy I found I had seeded a sinus infection. All the air circulation if you have any type sinus problems can cause you some problems till you get used to it and find out how to treat the congestion. I still don't have a good solution that always ...

Re: Nasal mask and mouth breathing
Yes John you will get no benefit from the input pressure if you open your mouth. I am a confirmed mouth breather. I have learned how to keep my mouth closed and was successful using only a nasal mask. I know some people struggle with that. My bosses wife got some type of slightly elastic strap to as...
