Re: please sign in if you were never tired or sleepy before cpap

I totally get this and am happy to realize I wasn't totally nuts with the high energy thing. I have always had a very high energy level and worked a really intense project this Fall with about 130 hours over my normal 40 per week in a 6 week period. I did feel more worn out after the event and now t...

Swift FX™ For Her Nasal Pillow vs Opus 360 - your opinion?

If you're using the Swift FX any feedback, especially if you switched from Opus 360. I'm using the Opus 360 and while it's working better for me than the nasal mask I have, I'm thinking it could be even better. I notice there's no tube anchoring at the top and wonder if that's a problem. Does the ho...

Re: Need support/information - Haing a tough time with CPAP

Laurie, I just popped in here for a quick read and saw your post. I am very new at this too - just this month - so I don't have the wisdom of many others here. I can, however, offer you encouragement and commiseration. I understand exactly what you mean about longing for the time when the thought of...

Re: Cortisol flood, MVP & such things

Really good advice - all of this. Some time ago I did have a glucose test - fasting in the a.m. but it was several years ago - that's how long this issue has been going on. It showed no irregularity but you're right, in a perfect world I could test myself as it's happening. Are glucometer's expensiv...

Re: Cortisol flood, MVP & such things

Thanks, Slinky and Julie. Yes, I do have regurgitation with the MVP, have used Holter monitor, etc. Recently tested again and it's not getting worse. MVP tends to be exacerbated when lying down, especially on one side which contributes a bit to restlessness sleeping with CPAp but once I'm asleep it'...

Cortisol flood, MVP & such things

As a "newbie" I am SO grateful for the collective wisdom I've found here. I'm still slogging my way through the many of the posts and the general information. Long way to go I was recently diagnosed and now know many of the symptoms I've been feeling, over the past 2 years especially, may be related...
