Re: Longer lasting power for tent camping
Real life updates on the battery. I used it for two weeks straight camping, charging it during the day while riding the motorcycle. I could never get it to charge over 66% off the bike charging system, but that was enough for two full nights of sleep. The wall charger provides 20V vs the approx. 16V...

Re: Longer lasting power for tent camping
Thanks to the information in this thread, I picked up the same Q-Infinity battery that raftergirl had success with and guess what, it worked well for me too. Three full nights on my S9 set at 11, and still some charge left. Thank you! Much lighter to haul around than a motorcycle battery!

Re: single people using cpap
Before I met my significant other I would just ask them if they wanted to get any sleep or would they rather listen to me snore all night. And if they said that my snoring couldn't be that bad - I would tell them that it's so bad I don't sleep without the snorkel. Feel free to go home, but I'm sleep...

Re: need recommendation on Battery pack for CPAP
Look for an AGM type motorcycle battery! Much smaller than a car battery, a 22AH battery will run my Resmed for three nights with no problemo!

I felt like a fish out of water with my horizonally opposed two cylinder engine amongst all those big v-twins

Re: Motorcycle Riders and CPAP usage
Howdy, I like to ride and don't always stay in motels. I ride about 20,000 miles a year and need something that will work off 12volts so I can charge it during the ride. Battery: I needed a new motorcycle battery and unfortunately what I ordered did not fit in the battery carrier, it was 1/16" too w...

Re: DME actively discourages use of software?!
I don't want to purchase the software until the CPAP is fully paid for. In any event, to avoid any complications, I don't plan on purchasing the software until the machine is paid for; I don't want the DME telling my insurance that I was "noncompliant" on that basis and socking me with the other hal...

Re: Highest AHI,Longest Apnea,Lowest Desat
AHI of 117 for me. I was a walking zombie before I finally went in for my sleep study and left the study with a script in my hand. With my treatment I average somewhere between 1.2 and 2.5 AHI. I feel soooooooo much better!

Re: How am I supposed to feel?
Makes sense to me! I'm feeling better every day - and I've been hosed for three months. I felt like you after the first week and it keeps going the right way for me. More energy, easier to get up in the morning and the lethargy is gone!

Re: Problems with ResMed humidifier tank on new machines?
I tried 'em both, I started with a Resmed S9 Escape and had it for the month that it took to get back in to the sleep Dr. for a script for a data capable machine. The only data capable machine that the DME would then give me was the Respironics Remstar Pro Cflex+. The Respironics felt like it was "h...

Re: Have you felt a rebirth since cpap?
I've been on the hose for almost three months now and I feel twenty years younger. My API in my study was 117 and they wasted no time in my split study getting me on a machine. I'm much more active than I was, morning headaches are gone and projects/things that went dormant are getting completed. Ge...
