Re: How many???

It was the Internist/Cardiologist at the clinic my doctor works. I was sent to see him by my GP because of my family history of heart disease. I had several "face swallowing" yawns during my appointment and he asked me if I was tired all the time and if I snored. I answered yes and he recommended I ...

Re: How Much Did Your Sleep Study Cost?

I don't know about other provinces, but Ontario (OHIP) as og 1 July 2010 changed their rules and will pay only for one study every 2 years. Re: How frequently does your sleep specialist follow up?

I have been on my machine for almost 2 months now and mine wanted to do a download after two weeks, I took my machine in with me, and she emails me once a week to see how I am doing. I am scheduled to do another download in about two more weeks, just before Christmas Break.

Re: Canadians Being Gouged

Alberta won't pay for cpap either, and we're supposed to be the "oil/gas rich" province. I'm a senior and a widow, with no help at all paying for my machine. What I've got is what I could afford, at least it will keep me alive!! Cheers Nan I was told at first that Blue Cross would not cover the mac...
