Re: Help with masks (especially Sleepweaver Anew)

I have used all of the Sleepweaver masks over the past 15 years including the Anew.
I could never get the Anew to seal properly.
My current daily driver is the Sleepweaver 3D nasal mask.

Re: OSCAR 2.0 is Available

Can OSCAR 2.0 import data from OSCAR 1.6.1? Is there anything special required to do so. I have two Aircurve 10 ASV machines. I would like to import the SD cards from both as well as the history from version 1.6.1. What is the proper sequence to get everything into one file in OSCAR 2.0? My wife use...

Re: How to tell if you need to switch doctors?

Good sleep doctors are almost as rare as hens teeth. I recently saw a new pulmanologist. I showed my OSCAR print out to the PA. He almost started doing back flips. Before I left he had downloaded OSCAR and was showing it to the Doc. That was actually the third Doc I found in 15 years who even paid a...

Re: position data/sensor in OSCAR?

My idea won't help with positional apnea. I have fond that masks with hose connection at the top of the head are less likely to leak than those with the hose connection in front of the nose. An example is the Resmed P30 I, N30I or F30i or or the Respironics Dream Wisp. Also Circadiance Sleepweaver m...

Re: Air 11 heated tube lifespan

Do you have a dog that likes to play with tubing? I almost always replace my heated tubing when I get a new machine. Occasionally even more often, but I don;t remember the heated tube failing ever. Mt wife is two + years on her airsense 11 and I think she is on the original tubing, may have replaced...

Almost any medical professional who can write any prescription can write your CPAP prescription, including your dentist.

Re: reliable approved sources

The first rule with Apria or most other DMEs is NEVER GIVE THEM A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD!!!! I have them bill me, then have my bank mail them a check. That way they have no access to any of my personal accounts. I recommend keeping one or two spares of everything you use. Stuff is guaranteed to break ...

CMS 50i VS CMS 50F

I ordered a CMS 50i from Amazon (my forth CMS50i in 15 years) which arrived today.
But, what arrived was a CMS 50F.

Neither is currently available at Amazon today.

Should I keep the CMS 50F or return it.

I do use 3 liters of nocturnal Oxygen and an Aircurve 10 ASV.

Re: Bipap Auto or Bipap ASV

Not an expert on this. I have never used a BiPap Auto. I have been using an ASV for about 12 years now. First insurance bought me a Philips which I used for about 5 years. I still have it. Than I bought a used Resmed Aircurve 10 ASV Used out of pocket. This has now replaced the Philips as my travel ...

Turbo Tax is the main program remaining that keeps me tied to Windows.

Re: OSCAR and Snapdragon X processor

Depending on what software you use besides OASCAR, you may be able to save a few bucks by installing Linux on your current computer. There are many flavors of Linux available, including a few that look like Window. The software is a free download and usually includes an office program Libre Office w...
