Re: are you fully recovered after CPAP or still tired?Poll pleas
Big S..........you bring up something I have not thought about before. Improved golf game via CPAP. Well heck...........now I know it's going to all be worth it! I'll take an extra 20-50 yards any day. I am only a few weeks into therapy and don't feel any worse but not sure I feel any better yet. Se...

Re: Mike and molly

Re: Require less sleep using cpap
Well my grilfriend thinks I am being unrealistic in thinking I can eventually get a whole night's sleep. I am optimistic I will get there eventually. Not sure if the times I am waking up are because of a leak or what. In looking at my data it seems I have quit a few hypopneas through the night. Not ...

Re: Encore pro 2.4 not always recording wave data?
This is strange. My original SD (I have only been on CPAP for about a week and a half now) never reported wave form data for the 1st week of therapy. My original SD card caused my machine to beep after I turned it off every monring so the DME sent me a new one. I have used the new one for 2 nights a...

Re: Require less sleep using cpap
It looks like my leaks are not that much and my AHI has been trending down to under 2. Only 1.5 weeks of therappy so far so evolving. Few bad nights of AHI of like 6 or so.

Re: Require less sleep using cpap
I have been using CPAP for about a week and a half now. I have not noticed an immediate difference like you have (not yet anyhow). I am curious, how many out there quit waking up repeatedely through the night after you started CPAP therapy or do you still wake up but because you reach a deeper sleep...

Re: Encore pro 2.4 not always recording wave data?
Thanks. That did the trick. I was wondering what the heck with the time line. I may still be off an hour but like you said it may just be DST.....guess we will find out this weekend and I will pay attention to what time I actually go to sleep tonight. I assume that 0=midnight? Now all I have to do i...

Re: Encore pro 2.4 not always recording wave data?
I am using encore pro 2.4 and can't find where to change the time anywhere. The only preferences screen I found was under the "Company Settings" tab and there was nothing there I could see to change the time frame.

Re: Encore software - technical question
Have you tried reading a non CPAP SD card to see if the SD reader is working properly?

Re: Dry Mouth
From reviewing your data, how can you tell if your mouth comes open through the night or not? I don't see any major or extended leaks that show up but I am also just learning to look at the data the software provides. (Using Encore Pro 2.4) Or is dry mouth the only indicator?

Re: Encore pro 2.4 not always recording wave data?
Hi, I just started therapy a week ago and am new to the forum. I am having the same issue as you. I was able to load Encore Pro 2.4 on an older Win XP Pro machine and it installed and seems to be running without a glitch except I have not been able to see ANY waveform data. I'd be interested to see ...

Re: What data do you find most useful?
Janknitz....thanks. I checked your blog out for the data tutorial. I am having mostly bad nights now trying to adjust to the whole CPAP thing. Last night was particularly bad. I am wondering if I have been too afraid to over-tighten the straps on my mask and maybe that is part of the problem. I am c...

What data do you find most useful?
Hi all. I am new to the forum here but I have been lurking for a few weeks trying to gain some insight into this whole CPAP thing. I started my therapy last week and am a bit frustrated but not deterred. I am going through what I gather is normal in terms of adjusting to therapy. (Figuring out mask ...

Re: Will i really get use to this?
Hello to the CPAPers out there. I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a week or two. It's great to know that others out there have gone through the same thing and eventually got to feeling better. I am looking forward to that "Ah Ha" moment when I can actually wake up and say I slept most ...
