Re: Still Trying to be compliant after 3 yrs Is APAP an option?
4) Have you ever slept with the CPAP on enough nights over a long enough time to start to feel a difference in how you feel and function during the daytime? I don't expereince day time sleepiness. [/quote] I'll rephrase the question based on my own (negative) experience then. When you've used CPAP ...

Re: Still Trying to be compliant after 3 yrs Is APAP an option?
Ms. L, I'm glad to hear your husband is getting less aerophagia on the BiPAP. That's also been true for me. I'm running my PR S1 BiPAP Auto in straight BiPAP mode though with fixed IPAP=8 and EPAP=6 though and have set the ramp to 30 minutes with starting pressures of IPAP=7 and EPA=5. One thing yo...

Re: Still Trying to be compliant after 3 yrs Is APAP an option?
A lot of good advice is posted above. Definitely speak with your doc about the issues you are having. Robysue posted a lot of good questions. In my husband's case, he was prescribed cpap of 11. He was not hardly compliant at all. Finally, he started using it, for me, so I could sleep. But he still c...

Re: chapped lips and chapped nares
Hi Robysue, I found Shea Butter a couple of years back in this Buzz Latte lip balm made by Bare Escentuals and I thought it was the greatest thing on earth. Till last year, my lips were so so bad, I looked like a clown because above and below my lips would turn so red. They were dry, cracked, etc. I...

Re: Two week Christmas present.
Thanks Janknitz, Actually, I have had my cpap since 2006. At that time medicare paid for it on a rental basis and my bcbs supplement picked up the rest.I didn't pay anything at all so I guess they would do the same again. At that time I was just given a machine,I had no idea even what a cpap was! S...

Re: Mouth Falling Open (newbie)
Here are a few of the basics: Adjusting pressure - My DME told me that if your mouth falls open it usually due to the lack of pressure. This is interesting. My spouse started out at a higher pressure and I never noticed his mouth open while sleeping after starting Cpap. Then pressure was lowered (t...

Re: RERAs - just learning about them - could use some info
The CPAP should prevent the RERAs Does anyone know exactly how the cpap machine would prevent RERA's? Would this be something having to do with adjusting the pressure? Not that I would do this myself, just wondering. Also wondering, when talking with the doctor about this, what type of questions sh...

SD Card reading Encore from Printer?
I've read some of you here use your printer to read your SD cards for Encore. Anyone use a Kodak Esp7 All-in-One to do this? If so, can you tell me how to get the info from the printer to the software?
Thanks
Thanks

I don't have any experience with that type of mask. I just posted these for another person. I don't know if a change in mask would help or not. Re: Need support/information - Haing a tough time with CPAP

So it looks like it fits a little different for different noses. some noses it touches, some it doesn't. But nothing across the bridge of your nose. http...
