Does anybody know how to set the time on a REMstar auto with C-Flex? The machine is from 2006. I've noticed that they MyENcore readings are about 3 hours off from the actual time.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks Brenda!bdp522 wrote:If you are worried that your machine isn't working you can ask your DME to test it to be sure the machine is working properly.
What is a DME? Is that a Doctor?
I don't have insurance and do most things myself with occasional conversations with my Doctor.

Re: CPAP Machine Lifespan
Sorry Roster, I just noticed your timespan at Cpaptalk.com. That answers my question somewhat, unless you have had machines a long time before.roster wrote:It might last three years and it might last fifteen. For planning purposes figure five.

Re: CPAP Machine Lifespan
11006.6 hours on my machine and still going strong. Started July 27,2006. Thanks Brenda! I bought mine about the same time (a month or so before) and it seems to be ok. It might last three years and it might last fifteen. For planning purposes figure five. Thanks for the input. Have you had any exp...

CPAP Machine Lifespan
I'd be interested to hear comments from long time CPAP users (or APAP or whatever) on the lifespan of CPAP machines in general.
In particular, I have a Remstar APAP with CFlex purchased in 2006.
This is kind of a follow up to a previous question. I am hoping to learn.

Re: Is my 5 year old machine still working well?
and what's your AHI running at that level? I am learning to use the program just by looking in order to answer your question. I see that at pressure 5 the AHI is about 11 (for example). At pressure 12 the AHI is zero. If I understand those numbers right, they confirm that the machine is doing the r...

Re: Is my 5 year old machine still working well?
It tells me that your weightloss... impacted the pressure that you need. This is the problem, I am now almost back up to the same weight I was when I first got the machine. Yet the APAP function is still maxing out at 12 instead of the 18 that it used to when it was new. (data obtained via Encore's...

Is my 5 year old machine still working well?
I purchased a Remstar Pro CFlex machine from Respironics via CPAP.com back in 2005 or 2006. It changed my life. My blood pressure went down, I stopped being tired and I lost weight without any other efforts. Recently my blood pressure has been a bit higher and my weight has started to go up again. I...

MyEncore Nightmare
Hello! I am a new user of a CPAP Machine. I purchased a card reader and Encore Pro 1.6. I have had a nightmare trying to get MyEncore to actually run! By the way, I appreciate your idea of offering MyEncore! I haven't been able to get it to work though. I have read a bunch of posts, but none have he...
