While I am hesitant to suggest it....
....there is the possibility that you can adjust your own pressure. GERD: I used to have it all the time - and my doctor put me on 300 mg of Zantac a day - you can now buy Zantac OTC. although it is not cheap - but, well, low carb dieting, while it did not cause me to lose weight, made the GERD go a...

The important thing....
The important thing is that you have been treated in a way that works for you - it looks like one treatment plan does not work for everyone. You got treated, you followed up, and things are working.

cymbalta
Well, doc put me on 60 mg - I am astounded that I can notice a mood change after only two doses. Could be placebo effect. No change in pain. I took gabapentin (neurontin) at fairly high doses, like about 3-4 grams a day - it had me scared to drive I was so zoned out - dragging and barely able to kee...

Medical Spending Account
I've seen those accounts cover almost anything - If I had one of those I'd try putting the software and reader through it - if it comes from a medical supply place they will probably accept it. The rules on those are nothing like insurance.

Circadian issues
When I first got out of high school, I felt like my natural clock was about 26-28 hours. I used to work from home, programming and would just naturally stay up- 2-4 hours later every night and do these all night deals every few days. It didn't bother me until I changed jobs and had to go to a lot of...

I am a very large person
The sleep lab tech said that she thought I was a medium, but I use the large size at home and even they go into the nostrils slightly - I adjust the angle for greatest comfort. I almost exclusively sleep on my back. I clip the hose to my shirt using a different mask's wrap around velcro piece and "b...

Mouth breathing
So, when you use a FF mask, you have a special valve to allow you to breathe when you lose power. You have a rip release to get out of the mask if you get sick with the mask on and you toss cookies. When you use a nasal mask and you tape up, how do you deal with power failures? How do you deal with ...

Central Apnea and CPAP
Central Apnea happens when you simply don't breathe. There is no blockage, you just don't breathe. The lowered O2 levels will eventually wake you - just as a obstructive apnea will. They might be associated with alcohol, sleep meds or raised CPAP pressures. They might just happen because you are you...

cymbalta - any personal experiences?
Cymbalta is an antidepressant that also has pain indications - it was tested against diabetic neuropathy pain and it looks like it helps some people. I was thinking about asking my physician about it. Does anyone have any personal experience with it? I would be happy to read same - either by public...

You have to worry about dissolving things
For the same reason that you should not use vaseline with condoms, you should not use it with a rubber mask that comes in contact with it - it can dissolve a little rubber into the oil base which might irritate you. Not that the mask will burst but that the vaseline will dissolve the rubber. You wan...

Cool. The dyes will leach from one piece of silicone rubber to another when they are stored in contact or even next to each other. They will also sometimes leach from non-silicone rubber into silicone rubber. The coloration from black plastic or rubber will turn the item yellow. This sort of thing c...

Wireless Oximeter
Do you really anticipate that one wire will cause you that much trouble? The problem I would see is that the wireless unit would have to have a fair amount of battery to keep the led(s) lit all night - and to transmit. I really hate programming for Windows - I have spent hours on trying to deal with...
