Re: One year in... How time flies.
Hi JD. glad to hear htings have gone so well for you? Did your insurance require a follow-up sleep study? My year mark in in December and I have been wondering if I even have to go see my sleep doc. I've been meaning to call my ins and ask them. It's probably more accurate to say that the insurance...

Re: Zeo with Quattro?
I was able to collect data with the band up above the Quattro forehead pad. I'm not sure how 'good' it was, but it didn't seem crazy out of whack with the data I saw on my xPAP card. I've since switched to pillows which present no problems with the Zeo.

One year in... How time flies.
Just had my one year followup sleep study last night... I cruised through and felt like an old pro, thanks in large part to all of the great information I've absorbed by (mostly) lurking on this board. It was a split study, and it's remarkable how miserable the first half without xPAP therapy was. I...

Re: New to CPAP & Side Sleeper - Head Pillow Recommendations
I use the regenesis buckwheat pillow that I read about on this forum. It's great for side sleeping even with a full face mask (I use a Quattro)

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
I posted last week about some initial success but since then it has been a challenge, and I've only made it all the way until morning on one occasion. The FX starts out great each night, it seems very straightforward to get a good seal at first, but it seems like as my face relaxes while drifting of...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
I just got mine in the mail today. I use a medium for a quattro and have always had trouble with the seal alongside my nose. I also ordered a medium for the FX, and it seems to run a bit smaller and fit very well. My Rx is 14cm straight cpap and it seemed to have no trouble holding the seal when I t...

Re: Heading to my 1 month review
Unless the sleep lab has some financial connection with the DME they shouldn't have any argument with you having an APAP rather than a CPAP "just because". The sleep lab won't get paid any more or less if you have an APAP instead. A good sleep lab should support your efforts to take an active part ...

Heading to my 1 month review
I'm heading back to my sleep lab to meet with the RT and go over my first month's results. This will be more than a little bit anti-climactic, since thanks to this forum I already know how it is going - my AHI has been under 2.0 every day for the past two weeks, and I manage to keep leaks under the ...

Re: Low AHI, High snore index and flow limitation
How's your leak rate? I've noticed on my husband's data that his higher snore index correlates to a higher leak rate. My leak rate is under 8L/min now that I got a mask liner, with plenty of times at zero... It doesn't look visually correlated to the snoring or times with the most flow restriction....

Re: Low AHI, High snore index and flow limitation
Thanks, Julie. I will experiment with some different humidity settings. I use the climate line hose, so I think in those terms lower temperature == lower humidity?

Low AHI, High snore index and flow limitation
Hi, I've been using CPAP for 10 days now. My pressure is straight CPAP at 14cm. Thanks to this forum I've been able to read my detailed statistics on my laptop from day 1, which is fantastic! One difference I saw in my data compared to many others I've seen here is that while my AHI has been consist...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
After my first week I asked my wife how it was going from her perspective. She said we needed to get a white noise machine because things were now too quiet w/o my snoring! I've been feeling pretty good, I think I lucked out with my mask + head shape because that hasn't presented too many problems s...

Re: Snoring with CPAP
I'm only in my first week but the data readouts say that I'm still snoring quite a bit, too, even when AHI is below 3. I don't have any answers but I'm also interested in hearing about this. I have straight cpap at 14cm

New user - ResMes S9 elite, interested in software
I went to cpap.com to try and obtain software to read the card in my resmed S9 elite machine, but it said it was no longer available. I've been reading and doing my research since my titration test and I'm very interested in tracking things closely. I have a full face mask but when it is fully rampe...
