I've tried several nasal pillows type masks and all the nasal and full face masks. The Respironics Optilife with a cradle cushion has worked pretty well for 18 months. I started with the Optilife large nasal pillow, switched to the medium cradle cushion and ended up using the small cradle cushion. The cushion provides me more air and is much more comfortable than the pillow style.

Yes, with a climateline hose set to 78 degrees and humidifier set to 3.5.

I have added an 18" regular hose with a swivel in-line connector to extend the heated hose. There is no change in results except that I now can roll over without dislodging my mask. IMO, a 6 foot hose, heated or not, is too short.

I average 8.5 hours of sleep per night. I use the heated tubing. I fill the humidifier once before getting into bed and refill it once more during the night after about 4 hours sleep. I have no idea why the humidifier is using so much water. I live near the ocean and the relative humidity is not rea...

Suggest you lay back in the chair when trying out masks with the air on. The comfort can be quite different than when sitting up.

I use the cradle cushion with my optilife. I find that it supplies much more air into my nose as well as feeling much better than a pillow interface. But the main benefit of the optilife for me is the built in chin strap which keeps my mouth closed.

Have you tried the cradle cushion with your Optilife mask? It works perfectly for me.
