Re: Distiller for water?
Reverse osmosis does not remove calcium, but I am sure it makes tasty drinking water. I need to keep the crud out of my cpap tank. Only distilled water can do that. My old Kenmore tabletop distiller is "still" chugging away. When it dies, the bullfrog can rig a DIY solution, like his dad did in cap...

Oscar software
Good morning everyone Just wanted to ask a quick question. In the Oscar software I just noticed that when you look at all the settings of your machine. Where it says full face mask humidifier on or off. There is a part that says patient Access allowed. Mine states no. Can someone tell me what this i...

Re: Just a few questions from a newbie
As some one who has recently been diagnosed with OSA I would be interested to hear from other forum members on the following subjects. 1 . How old were you when you first discovered that you had sleep apnea ( I am soon to reach 66 years old ) 2 . How long have you been continually using a CPAP mach...

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP vs Autoset mode
For me I do best on just CPAP 11cm. There's no evidence to support that you do "best" there, see below. I have been on 11cm now for 13 years. You've never experienced a modern automatic machine. Yes you could be right but the three sleep studies show that I do best on 11cm. I understand that the th...

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP vs Autoset mode
Generally the goal is to use the lowest pressure needed for therapeutic treatment. That's because with higher pressures issues can develop with things like mask leaks or air in the belly causing cramping. If one is not bothered by their straight pressure, I don't see a need to rock the boat. People...
