It is because of the generous support of all of you in this forum that I am making the progress I am with my CPAP machine - I do believe I am feeling clearer and stronger during the day as a result of using my CPAP - My work is in oncology at a large hospital - some da...

Re: Swift Lt for Her VS regular Swift mask

Interesting - I was anticipating the Swift LT for Her to be lighter and therefore more comfortable than the Swift FX.

Thank you for your comments - I certainly learning a lot!

Re: Dream Weaver CPAP Mask - anyone using it?

Thank you all for your input on the DreamWeaver mask - I think I will order one and give it a try - from what I am learning for all of you - it can be a good idea - to rotate masks and have a good back-up.

Dream Weaver CPAP Mask - anyone using it?

I just discovered an all cloth CPAP Mask that only covers the nose. Because it is all cloth I am leary about how good a seal it would make for pressure - have any of you tried this mask or are using it. The nasal pillow mask is causing soreness and small sores to break out on the end of my nostrils....

OUCH! Nasal Pillows hurt - can you help?

I have gotten sores on my nostrils from using my nasal pillow mask - has this problem occurred for anyone else? I am only two nights into using my cpap machine - and really like that the pillows mask does not cover my whole face which causes me to feel claustrophobic - however the soreness is a prob...

Thank you all!!! First night success!

I was so down and feeling so sorry for myself and my situation - having been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. I want to thank Moonbear for her heartfelt and vulnerable posting "so depressed" that acted as a catalyst for so many compassionate responses from all of you. I read them all. How each o...

Re: HELP! Has anyone had Septoplasy and turbinate reduction

Thank you all for sending me your replies - I quess what I was most wanting to hear/know - is that the surgery had a good - maybe even great result - and that it improved your breathing and reduced your apnea - surgery is something to be avoided - however if it can really improve my quality of life ...

Re: HELP! Has anyone had Septoplasy and turbinate reduction

Yes - you would think I would go through boxes of cookies and quarts of milk - BUT - when I typed in "Septoplasy" in the upper left corner I got only 7 matches and none of then addressed my question - any more suggestions?
