If this is Respironics BiPAP Auto SV, I sure am interested! I have no insurance, and need a backup for mine. If it's the ResMed equivalent, that would work too. Let me know how to proceed.
Thanks, Paul

Re: Encore Pro2/Viewer2 /Smartcard not working
GumbyCT,
I feel so ignorant sometimes ... per your advice, how do I "go to Run?" I assume once I get there, the path to Services.msc and SmartCard and Auto will be obvious. BTW, everything worked fine this morning.
Thanks again.

Re: Encore Pro2/Viewer2 /Smartcard not working
I found and reinstalled the EncoreViewer software and it worked - even the EncorePro2 works again! It seems that when the computer is restarted, the Encore driver(s?) become inoperable and have to be reloaded. Does this make sense? BTW, the operating system is Vista Home Premium Edition (32-bit). Th...

Jerry,
Same usb port as always. I will dig out the driver softwear and give it a try.
Thanks

Re: Encore Pro2/Viewer2 /Smartcard not working
jnb3boys,
I'm not sure what a standard SD card is. Mine is a mostly blue creditcard sized card with "encorepro," "smartcard" and "Respironics" printed on it.

Encore Pro2/Viewer2 /Smartcard not working
Could not download the data from my encorepro smartcard (infineer reader) via EncorePro2 this morning. This message appeared instead: "A Phillips Respironics data card was not found." The red light on the front of the reader comes on when I insert the card. I think it usually flickers a bit when the...

Hypopnea definition / Respironics BiPAP Auto SV
The definition of hypopnea varies. In general, it seems to be defined either as a partial blockage (30-40%) of the airway for at least 10 seconds or as a pattern of waxing and waning breathing. Anybody know which one the Respironics BiPAP Auto SV is recognizing/treating ... and which one shows up on...

Re: BiPAP Auto SV settings questions
Thank you so much SWS, Banned and CrowPat, Your explanation makes perfect sense. Wish I had been able to get this question out and answered months ago. For me, the I = E setting is as effective as I > E and the awful pounding/forced breathing is no more. Would love to know what there is about my bre...

Re: BiPAP Auto SV settings questions
Pat, Thanks for your reply. Sorry it takes me so long to respond. Fuzzy brain and slow typing ... And sorry about the "ResMED" reference - I meant RemStar . I didn't realize until recently (when I couldn't find my machine on the forum registration pull-down menu) that Respironics and RemStar were on...

BiPAP Auto SV settings questions
Been reading the forum on and off for several months and finally got registered a few days ago. I've learned a ton from y'all, but still have a boatload of questions. Have quite a story to tell as well, but I often have a lot of difficulty writing things down. So that will have to wait. First up - a...

Re: Encore Viewer vs Encore Pro 2
I checked and found no little blue box. VERY frustrating. Can I upgrade my machine to a PR S1 version? Also, how can I correct the time stamps on both the Viewer and Pro programs? BTW, re: the "little red line" on the waveform shown above, I believe it indicates the point at which the machine delive...

Re: Encore Viewer vs Encore Pro 2
I used Encore Viewer for several months then downloaded and starting using Encore Pro 2 a couple of weeks ago. I hoped to be able to view my waveform data, but no luck so far. My machine is Respironics BiPAP Auto SV. Smart Card. Infineer reader. I select "Details" but can find no pathway to waveform...
