SPO Pulse Ox 7500
I haven't been on this forum for about 5 years. Back then I was very "green" and needed lots of advice. Fortunately there were a number of kind people who shared their knowledge. I hop it is still like that! I have the pulse Ox 7500 wrist oximeter. Always worked like a champ. But they are out of bus...

Re: do you use a "travel" machine or your usual one
I bought an Intellipap to use as a travel machine. I did have some problems at first with the adjustments but got some help on this forum and all is well. I am on the road right now and using it every night. It is smaller than my S9 and works fine. BUT I miss checking all my data. The Smart code is ...

Intellipap flex settings
Although I normally use an S9 I bought an Intellipap for traveling. We are on the road and last night I had problems with the Devillbis. The change from inhale to exhale and vice versa is too harsh. My nasal mask pops and my ears hurt.If I try real hard to slow down my bretahing it is better but sho...

New Intellipap
I purchased an Intellipap Auto to use as a travel machine and as a backup to my S9. I just unpacked everything and set it up for tonight. I will report my experience later in the week. I did notice some positive and negative issues. It was refreshing to have a CPAP that comes with a decent manual an...

Re: Advice ? Buying Oximeters from China on Ebay
I too bought one from door to door. It never arrived. I traced the package and it was returned due to bad address. But the next day a parcel from China arrived. It was 2 fake Dallas Cowboy shirts. I contacted door to door. Would have better luck asking my cat for a refund . Never again.. They kept s...

Re: Kill-A-Watt for DC?
Physics Bob: There are lots of DC clamp ammeters on the market. You simply clamp it across the +cable and it gives you a reading. I use it on cars and trucks to check all for all kinds of electric problems.

Re: Kill-A-Watt for DC?
There is a simpler way to check the amp draw. Get a "clamp meter" that can handle DC amps. I have one that can go to 100 amps. They have come down in price and a good one can be had for under $100.00.

Re: ClimateLine heated tube question
If your S9 came with a regular hose it would have been a slinline. The climateline is about the same internal size.

Canadian DME wins the Highest price Award
In Manitoba the Gov. has only one DME. Rana. Very fancy offices. I have seen posts from other Canadians complainig about high prices but here is a doozer. Up until recently you could not get an Auto machine on your health insurance. Because I had my sleep lab tests done outside the Proviince they wo...

Re: Second Machine for RV use
Thanks: I like that the INtellipap does not have a brick. Don't really need the 12 volt cord as our MH has a big inverter but nice to know it would be easy to add that cord.

Second Machine for RV use
I ahevnt posted here for quite some time. Amazingly my therapy appears to be working. It is almost one year and was a struggle for a few months. I have the s9 and other than hose problems it works well. But I still think Resmed needs to hire an ergomnics specialist. The hoe coming out the back is a ...
