Re: For Sale - PR System One APAP, Swift FX, and Nuance Pro
Bump. That's a lot of total machine hours but this might be good for a backup for somebody that needs an auto machine. Of course, it's worth whatever somebody is willing to offer for it. Yeah it does have a good amount of hours on it but is still in great condition. Also willing to listen to offers...

Re: Sleep Medicine Dr. Says I Don't "Look" Like I'd Have Apnea
I found a sleep medicine doctor/pulmonologist to see me last week! But he said that I don't look the type to have sleep apnea. I'm not obese and my throat was open and clear when he examined me. But he ordered a sleep study anyway based on my symptoms. However it will not be a split study because h...

Re: CPAP is great for sinusitis and asthma?
When I set the humidifier appropriately (not to high) than the CPAP really helps with keeping my sinus clear and open.
It can be an art though trying to get the right humidity setting :/

Re: OT - Eli Lilly to Face Cymbalta Lawsuits regarding withdraw
I've never taken Cymbalta but did take effexor which is in the same class as a SNRI and when I was on that medication I had these "brain zaps" while actively taking the medication that lead to me eventually moving on to SSRI's which never worked. It's a shame because Effexor really helped with all m...

For Sale - PR System One APAP, Swift FX, and Nuance Pro
I'm selling my old Respironics System One APAP/Humidifier. I recently moved, got new insurance and have no deductible and insurance covers cpap 100% so when the sleep Dr ordered a new titration I did some research and found out I could get a new machine I wouldn't have to foot the bill for. So I mov...

Re: How to find the right Swift FX pillow
I started out with the small last night but had to change to medium. Just felt as if I couldn't breath with the small. The medium were much more comfortable though I still did wake up with a sore nose. I didn't have that problem with the opus. So I will have to go out today and get some Lansinoh. I ...

Re: How to find the right Swift FX pillow
Thank you, I watched them and I 'think' I figured out what size to use. I'm going to go with the small tonight and see. The medium seemed to come loose to often.

How to find the right Swift FX pillow
So I just traded in my Opus 360 for the swift FX. The Opus was leaving annoying marks and was causing nose irritation. I had used both in the titration and the Swift felt better but the Opus was easier to adjust. The RT suggested the medium but where I can I find info of just how the pillows should ...

Re: why I cant sleep on CPAP
I noticed this same problem too. I started on Monday on CPAP. I would lay there for a while forcing myself to breath and it wasn't until I let my mind wander to something else that I found myself drifting off and finally able to sleep. I've managed to sleep all the nights since starting but the firs...
