Re: Shift Work & Sleep Apnea Procter & Gamble

Slinky - Yes he offered to write one for a price with the advice that it never works. Since I guess other patients have had the same problem. He made a good point no matter what the studies show we as a society work 24hrs a day including the important jobs such as hospitals fireman & police. Therefo...

Re: Shift Work & Sleep Apnea Procter & Gamble

I am not sure about the sleep pills that would be a question to ask him. It's w...

Re: Have you had Earache and headache

So how long has your setting been at 8 -18 if just recently then yeah thats the problem. I had an original setting of 9-11 but after treatment for awhile and about 7 lbs. I found I was always at 11, meaning the pressure needed to be higher to be effective most likely from the weight gain. But my DME...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it

I use the Mirage Quattro - What I do at night just before bed is turn the bath on hot as hot as I can get it, then I run my mask in the hot water for about 40 secs then take it out shake it out put it on and go to bed. What this does is heat up the rubber and when it cools it creates a better seal t...

Re: How many years have you been on CPAP/APAP/BIPAP?

I as well believe genetically I got it from my father he has it but never has treated it. He was suppose to have a sleep study done but never we...

Re: Pad A Cheek forehead pad and nose bridge pad

I have the Mirage Quattro and what I do is use corn cushion and stick them up inside around the area that gets affected by my nose. Its not perfect but has helped.

It always cool though rolling into work with strap marks and a bright red nose !

Vertigo with No Alcohol

Wowo I woke up this morning and it was all I could do to keep myself from falling over. Has anyone ever felt that way? It was like my head was 200 pounds. I felt like I was going to vomit but never did. It eventually got better. The only thing I can think of was I increased my setting from 10.6 to 1...
