Re: Should I get re-evaluated?
HI I did a new study after 35lb weight loss and needed lower pressure I also asked for and received an auto machine since I intend to lose even more weight. My mouth was popping open and getting dry mouth where for the last nine years I had no trouble at all. Congrats on your weight loss and keep up...

Re: Respironics PR System 1 users ??
Ok Ok I get it you don;t want to take the lid off LOL I'm the type that would lose the funnel or drink the water out of the sports bottle But with regards to the op I do like the machine to me it is quiet with the software and some pressure adjustments my AHI is down to .4. I have been on cpap for t...

Re: Respironics PR System 1 users ??
- I hate the ergonomics of the System 1's humidifier. It's harder to fill (I frequently spill) that the one for the M Series. However, it is larger capacity. I solved that buy getting a collapsible funnel at the dollar store. Haven't spilled since, and can fold the funnel up and put it in the trave...

Re: Weight loss: recalibrate pressure?
Congratulations on the weight loss, but . . . You cannot assume that your pressure needs go down with weight loss. This is exactly why we tell everyone that a data capable machine is very important. Agreed which is why I had a new study done and switched to an Auto pap to avoid trouble in the futur...

Re: Weight loss: recalibrate pressure?
[quote="elmunc"]Hi everyone, I have dropped about 14 pounds (hooray for Weight Watchers!) recently from a starting weight of 207. On my way, hopefully, to a goal weight of 185. My question is: at what point (if at all) is it advisable to reduce my CPAP air pressure as a consequence of weight loss? H...

[quote="Madalot"]I feel really badly for any newcomer that joins a forum like this during times of turmoil. I can say the same thing as Emilia and say that had all this stuff been going on when I first came here, I would have left and never come back. I think the "behavior" (and let's leave it at th...

Re: I need a cpap.com replacement
I need a recommendation for a good on line CPAP vendor other than cpap.com who have recently dropped the ball in customer service as far as I'm concerned. I'm looking for a company that does not hold up an order for weeks because of an item not being in stock. I prefer to be told that an item is ou...

Re: Why it IS illegal - sort of - to change your pressure.
The one main thing I have gotten out of this discussion is that there is a distinct possibility that 'unauthorized' self-titration could POSSIBLY result in insurance coverage problems. Insurance companies--bleah. Hi The only reason we even mess with pressure is to get the best possible therapy for ...
