Causes and solution for my aerophagia?
Alright so, aerophagia doesn't usually happen for me. It usually only happens once every bi-weekly or tri-weekly. The setting has always been the same for the past year or so. I just woke up today with the most painful one yet that I couldn't fall back asleep. I read on some article that it's just b...

Teeth grinding?
I just went to a brand new dentist today for a check-up. I was told that looking upon my teeth, there's evidence that I grind my teeth at night and recommended that I wear nightguard. I went to look at a copy of the tritation test results, is there anything that tells me how many times I bite down o...

Re: Help? Is my bipap giving me tension headaches??
I have bulging disks in my neck. They are not herniated but even so the pain can be excruciating. My doctor showed me with one of those spine models what moving in different directions was doing inside my neck, and with the help of physical therapy I learned how to avoid pain causing activity. I di...

BiPAP causing air to go into my stomach
Nearly everyday I've waken up bloated from all the air that I swallowed. Do I need to lower my IPAP or EPAP? Is there a way to eliminate the bloating without changing the pressure (because doc says to keep it that pressure for my treatment)?

Re: Help? Is my bipap giving me tension headaches??
Honestly, the straps aren't tight enough... I position the top strap of my mask right behind the top of my head and the bottom strap would be all the way down to my lower neck, the straps are nowhere near the area that is hurting right now. Also, I've been using this same mask for like months. What ...

Help? Is my bipap giving me tension headaches??
The last 3 days, I've been having these crampy, dull, aching tension headaches that is going on for 24/7, even right now. First day, it was really bad, I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere or do anything. Second day was better, but I still had to leave my college early because the headache was bother...

Re: No more OSA? 250 to 215 lbs.
I remember not taking the medication for a few days, don't remember if I was sleepy or not, but I kind of felt suicidal... and was freaking out a lot more than usual... So was this before you had a well-working CPAP therapy? Your suicidal ideation and anxiety could have been entirely caused by poor...

Re: No more OSA? 250 to 215 lbs.
My doctor also prescribed me some stimulant to be less sleepy, but it only works a little bit. You need to research the stimulant also. The half life of some of those are fairly long and there might be enough of it left in your system at night to affect the quality of your sleep. Some are known to ...

Re: No more OSA? 250 to 215 lbs.
That reminds me, when I take Nightquil cold medicine, it knocks me right out in 5 minutes, but the next morning, I wake up INCREDIBLY tired, like A LOT more than the usual sleepiness. Then, I just can't force myself to wake, I just HAVE to go to sleep. Which kind of scares me because I've never bee...

One time I slept more than 10 hours with no waking up during the night.... Still tired as crazy... The thing is... If it is the medication, then what happens? Kind of need them for my depression and anxiety... I remember not taking the medication for a few days, don't remember if I was sleepy or not...

Re: No more OSA? 250 to 215 lbs.
Your report from last night looks good "on paper" Are you still averaging around 6 to 7 hours of sleep on the machine...and still going to bed late? Is this normal for you? Yeah, it's pretty normal. Go to sleep around midnight or after that. Still feel excessive sleepiness/tiredness though.. About ...
