Hi,

I use the Swift FX too. And for me it's the best mask I have tested. Very quiet, no leaks.

Re: need infos about use Resmed S9 an a car, 12V DC

As a professional electronics engineer, did you make the voltage measurments, with the unit hooked up to the S9, without that the voltage numbers are meaningless, also you need current draw for each pin. The easy way would be to buy a Respironics XPAP, the second easy way would be to run it from A/...

Re: Twitter button

Am I crazy, or did that Twitter button on each post just appear tonight? I swear I don't remember seeing it earlier today or any day before now. So, now we can tweet out a specific post? A bit out of context, in most cases, but it would bring interested folk to the thread and then the forum. Cool.....

Re: need infos about use Resmed S9 an a car, 12V DC

Hi there Why don't you rent a small motorhome instead of a car. That way you have all the hook-ups you need with a sine wave inverter connected to the coach battery. You would also have a bed, kitchen and bathroom....bonus. We have small motorhomes here than are no bigger than a van just like your ...

Re: need infos about use Resmed S9 an a car, 12V DC

Hi, I can't remember where I read it, probably somewhere on this forum but, I was left with the impression that a generic 12V to 24V adapter was not as straight forward as it might appear. As I recall, something about the wiring in the plug made the S9 "aware" that it was not attached to a Res Med ...

Re: cant fall asleep with CPAP

Maybee it's help a little bit: When I go to bed, in most times I have watched TV or readed a book. In fact, when you go to bed, your breathing is more intensive as you lay in bed. In bed and when you are sleeping, the breathing is flater. I do it so: I go to bed, lay down without my mask. In this ti...

Re: use Tubing Wrap for S9 ClimateLine or not?

I don't think there's much risk to covering the hose but if the hose breaks and exposes the electrical heater element to the cover, it's a potential fire hazard. I say potential only because you have an electrical and a heat element in contact with a material that can burn. I think the temparture o...

Re: need infos about use Resmed S9 an a car, 12V DC

Hi Slartybartfast,

thank you for the lnk, I know this.

I have found a converter from 12V DC to 24V DC, 6Ampere, for Laptops. It's very cheap, only 29.–Euro.
