Re: How long til numbers change?

Thank you everybody, my number went down overnight after sleeping on my side for most of the night so at least I'm trending in the right direction. A pretty significant decline, too -- 20% of my AHI number poofed overnight. My "periodic breathing" number also went down. So it looks like I might be g...

Re: How did you start therapy

I've been in therapy for grief and anxiety (and subsequently depression) after losing my mother suddenly, about two years ago. We had made a move to take me off my anxiety medication and I was following up with my psych doctor. She asked me if I was having anxiety symptoms -- heart racing, couldn't ...

How long til numbers change?

Okay. I got my provider manual for my machine and can now at will check my AHI average, etc. I checked it and the number is still sufficiently high but I have only been using my machine for 5 nights. My machine is a REMstar A-flex and not a C-flex, but there was no option for A-flex when I was picking my equipment. I am flexing at a "2" right now. I hav...

Re: Hi, I'm new.

Hi all, and thank you. Let me see if I can answer some questions or clarify some stuff. There was not an option to pick a REMstar Auto A-Flex but that is what my user's manual says I have, the c-flex was the closest thing. So I put in my comments that it's actually an A-flex. I don't know what A-fle...

Hi, I'm new.

Hi, I'm new to the world of CPAP and am happy to find a community of folks who share information and encouragement. I'm 40 years old and overweight, and have always, always been a snorer. The last couple of months I was getting progressively sleepier during the day and prone to bouts of just random ...
