Re: Cpap.com Offers a Home Sleep Test
Thanks for the information. I am very interested in this test. I have not used my CPAP machine except to meet CDL compliance for almost 2 years. I lost around 30 lbs. and got tired of waking up fighting the mask, leaks, disturbing wife...I had not been having events so I quit using it. Currently I ...

Re: Cpap.com Offers a Home Sleep Test
My husband and I just did the home sleep test through CPAP.com, and we were very satisfied with the process. Now, I'll qualify that with a disclaimer: We've been on CPAP therapy for 10 years, and were originally diagnosed through the overnight sleep test where we went to the sleep center, got goo-e...

Re: Poll: What sleeping position/mask/pillow works for you?
All of the above positions, back, side, belly, in that order of preference, most to least time spent there. Nasal pillows. Regular bed pillow. On a really good night, low ahi, I spend most of the time on my back. john

Re: cpap machine location
Trytryagain, check your hose in the morning, if there is no condensation in it, you will most likely not have a rainout problem with it placed even above mattress. You can have condensation in the hose, but if it don,t reach the mask or cause gurgling sound, there is no problem as far as I would be ...

Re: Poll What Gear Do You Sleep With?
I didn't see the option for "happy butt monkey". My grandma made me one some 40 odd years ago, don't know his fate, seen socks in a catalog a few years ago, reminded me of him. Dream On, I see some condensation in your hose, hope you don't have rainout to deal with also, there are so many things tha...

Re: No wonder I can't go to sleep
Last night I couldn't go to sleep. Then I realized I have on 1. My mouthguard 2. A chin strap 3. A mask with headgear 4. I have a cracked rib, so I have it wrapped all the way around me. And it's sort of tight. 5. A roll pillow between my legs to help with my back and I hate my knees touching they ...

Make sure no yellow snow is collected. johnWulfman... wrote:Has all your snow melted?
If not, scoop up a bunch of snow and melt it......then filter it through a cloth or coffee filter or something like that to remove the particulates. That should be fit to use in a humidifier tank......heated or unheated.

Re: Is the climateline hose as flimsy as the slimline hose?
Both of my climateline hoses failed at the cuff on the mask end. One at two weeks and the other at two months. Not a tear, just a pinhole from flexing. I have not used the slimline, but it feels just as flexable as the climateline. I have plenty of hose with machine sitting at head level on nightsta...
