Re: Resmed S9 Problems.....Can you help?

When they replaced my unit, they did not replace the humidifyer side. Is that where the problem is???

This is crazy! I really liked the Climateline hose!

Nope, it never sees the sun! Upstairs room is very warm, though.

Re: Resmed S9 Problems.....Can you help?

Thanks for your response! Yes, I've taken the hose off and on a few times to be sure it is connected. The DME entered in Climateline for me, and I've seen it displayed when I first turn the machine on. I wonder why it works for a while and then just decides to stop. When I think about it, both times...

Resmed S9 Problems.....Can you help?

Just started with the Climateline hose a few months ago, and I love it. For some reason, though, now that the weather is warmer, I've been having some trouble with it. A few weeks ago I kept getting a error message that said to replace the hose. If I unpugged the unit, the message would go away at f...

Re: Travel Advice

Great thread....thanks for posting.

I'm also wondering about travel out of the country. We are going to Mexico soon, and I wonder if I should anticipate anything different than travel within the US.

Anyone taken their CPAP to Mexico lately?? Thanks!

Re: Ocassional mouth breathing question...

Thanks, all, for your replies. The last few nights have been without any problems, so I guess I will only worry about it when I need to. Things are pretty smooth for the most part right now, so I'm not going looking for problems! Until my numbers show me it's causing concern, I will just go with it....

Re: Ocassional mouth breathing question...

Thanks! I guess I was just thinking that IF my numbers showed I wasn't getting good therapy, then I would do something about the mouth breathing. Maybe that's naive.... Here's one more question, then... CAN you have good mask leak numbers and AHI numbers and STILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MOUTH BREATHING...

Re: Ocassional mouth breathing question...

Thanks for the quick replies... Wouldn't my leak or AHI numbers be in an unacceptable range if I wasn't getting good therapy on those nights??? The numbers are always good. This has only happened a few times, certainly not every night. I know it would be a serious problem if it happened often, but d...

Ocassional mouth breathing question...

Hello! Just passed my 6 month mark, and I'm happy to say things are going pretty well. It's not easy, and I still don't like it, but I am 100% compliant and getting good numbers. I think I'm beginning to feel a bit more energy now. Here's my question: Just recently, I've found myself waking up in th...

Do you sleep all night?

Just a little curious.... I'm wondering if you are able to sleep for 7 or 8 hours without waking up at all?? My sleep doctor says it is "normal" for people to wake often in the night (with our without SA). He says very few people are able to sleep for 8 hours without waking. He thinks I'm making too...

Re: S9 Climateline hose settings?

Thanks so much to all of you for your responses. I will try tonight at 76 degrees and see what happens.

Also.....I hate the plastic feel of the tubing. Is it ok to cover the Climateline hose with a thin, fleece cover or will it mess up the temp and humidity???

Thanks!

S9 Climateline hose settings?

I tried a search, but it didn't work for me. Just wondering if anyone can tell me where to set my new Climateline hose. It's beginning to get cold outside now, and I'm looking forward to warm air! Our room temp. is in the low 60's and the humidity is quite low in the winter. Am I right in the fact t...

Re: Sad tonight....Atrial Fib, again!

THanks so much to you all for lots of good information! I really appreciate it. I'm doing much better now, and back to normal. I'm hoping that a little over 2 months of therapy is just not enough time to be completely "healed". I will continue on my CPAP journey and hope for the best. My AHI is alwa...
