Re: OT - Handicap Parking
Regarding parking for pregnant women or people with children (Ikea does this). . . These drive me crazy. Where's the parking for single, professional woman, who has worked her ass of for 60+ hours this week and is now having to stop at Walmart, Target, Ikea, etc before going home to prepare her dinn...

Re: PurSleep Aromatherapy for CPAP
Love the PurSleep products. Creme (a vanilla scent) and Paradise are my favorites. I also like to combine creme with blackcherry. Agree with the others about Clear. If you're at all stuffed up clear is fantastic.

Re: Switching DMEs (yet again) .. this time Apria :( Any info?
I have Apria and also asked my doctor to prescribe the S9. No problems at all getting the machine I wanted. Apria's billing is a little crazy and if you have a question about the billing it is difficult to reach intelligent life. But other than that I've been pleased.

Re: New Swift FX Bella Mask.....
Agree. Sounds like it could be rather uncomfortable. I use the Swift FX and don't have any issue with the head straps. Will buy this one with my next replacement and give it a try. It comes with the head straps so if is doesn't work out, I'm not out the money.

Re: my new skin it from Santa
I'm ordering one for my S9 today. Only wish they came directly through cpap.com so they'd have the cpap supply billing code and I could charge it my FSA. I'm a grown up girly girl and need my machine to look more girly. I would have had the pink machine had it been available when I bought my S9. I j...

Re: Anyone using Provigil or Nuvigil?
I've been on Nuvigil since August 2011. What a difference it has made for me. Had been on CPAP for 9 months with very limited improvement in daytime sleepiness. It is expensive and I have VERY good insurance coverage through my employer. Do go to the manufacturer's website because they do have some ...

Re: memory and cognitive relationship with apnea
My issues weren't as varied or severe. I initially saw a sleep specialist because I would get so tired during the day. Twice when chatting with close friends on the phone I sort of dozed off or momentarily blacked out and caught myself responding based on something I "dreamed" in that moment. I know...

Re: ELECTRIC BILL
I was talking to my sister about my cpap therapy and she told me a co-worker of hers had trouble paying her electric bill and had her service suspended. Since cpap is a medical device, her service had to be re-connected. I assume she worked out something with the electric company and possibly got r...

I use the Swift FX and love it. No leak problems and I hardly notice it. Very comfortable mask.

The idea that BionarySleep .com should be segregated. . . The comment by Mimmie directed to a thread on bionary sleep. . . I should not direct people to bionarysleep no matter . . . I'm sure I've made more than my share of typos, but I can't help laughing that he can't spell the name of the forum t...

Re: Things to Do/Inquiries to Make at Initial visit to DME
I got my S9 through Apria here in AZ. They were very easy to work with and the contracted price (probably dependent upon your insurance carrier) for my machine and supplies great. Far better than I can get from any of the web retailers. I have an S9 Elite and didn't attempt to have it upgraded to an...

Re: ?? easier way to hook up hose to mask?
I also have an S9 Elite with the slimline hose and really like it. However I have seen a lot of comments about the hose not lasting which worries me as I travel a fair amount on business and am disconnecting, reconnecting, and coiling the hose for packing. I did purchase a spare hose but of course I...

I wouldn't need to purchase the pur-sleep dog breath oil. I share my bed with my three dogs. The dog breath scent is guaranteed each and every night!
