Re: how do you clean your cpap machines?
thanks all. I'll have to pick up some vinegar and give it a try maybe this weekend.
I'm also going to pick up a gallon of distilled water to see if there's any differences between using tap water and distilled.

Re: any recommendations to help clear nasal passages.....
I actually do use a saline nasal spray before putting on my mask. I'll have to check out the nasal rinse.

Re: new
it took me about 2 weeks..it definitely is weird at first, but slowly you'll get used to it. I used to fall asleep without my mask on when I first got the machine..now, I DO NOT allow myself to fall asleep without the mask on because the difference in sleep quality is really worth me wearing the mask!

any recommendations to help clear nasal passages.....
I believe I have sinusitis and/or some sort of head cold and my nose is so congested at night since I got this cold a few days ago that I can't even wear my mask (nasal mask only). What are some suggestions to help clear my nasal passages and keep them clear while wearing the mask? I'm currently on ...

I don't see any links in your post.jdm2857 wrote:Here are ResMed's mask fitting templates. Since the SoftGel uses the same frame as the Activa, I would think that the Activa template is the one you want.
Make sure you print it full size. You can also order the templates from ResMed.

Re: anyone have sizing issues with the mirage softgel mask?
I went to get a new mask this monday, I was fitted for the softgel. The template said I wore a medium, it leaked like a whale's blow hole at the bottom on both sides.. the RT was quite surprised, he thought a medium should fit me, and I said... why dont we try a large? so I got the large, and no bl...

anyone have sizing issues with the mirage softgel mask?
hello all, anyone else have sizing issues with the softgel mask from resmed? basically, with all my other masks, which have been all respironics if I recall correctly, I'd wear a size small. When I first tried the softgel mask, I ordered a size small and it was entirely too small (my nose was rubbin...
