What do you use when you have no electricity?
What do you use when you have no electricity? Not even batteries. There are a lot of nasal strips, nose cones and other gadgets on the net. I have no intent of stopping cpap therapy but want an option for being in the boonies camping and running out of power. Any opinions on Max-Air nose cones? Than...

Camping battery?
We almost never camp where electricity is available. My options are the PR rechargeable battery or a 12v deep cycle battery. Am I correct in assuming that I will get longer run times with a 12v batt? I am aware that running my machine in pass over mode saves power. Thanks

Blood in nose?
My machine is a PR System One REMstar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex. I am now using a Swift LT Nasal Pillow. During the day when I blow my nose I get little spots of blood and or small blood clots. This has gone on for the last 6 weeks after changing from a FFM to the Swift. No such problems before using ...

Fatigue?
Started CPAP in Sept. Initially my AHI was in the 40ies. Snoring was 250 and lots of leaks. They changed pressure from 10 to 11 and AHI dropped to 8ish, snoring dropped to 217 and leaks reduced some. I now have been on a trial use of an APAP for one week. AHI is now under 5, snoring is 35 and leaks ...

Muscle soreness?
I started CPAP therapy in Sept of 2010. Sometimes I wake up with a very uncomfortable soreness in the muscles between my shoulder blades. This happens about half the time and I am OK on the other nights. The discomfort is severe enough that I have to get out of bed. After about 20 minutes the pain a...

Any harm in this?
I have the System One Pro cpap set at 10. My wife wants to try it. The only problem I can see is the false data recorded on my SD card. Will the cpap run without the card? Thanks

System One REMstar Pro CPAP Machine with C-Flex Plus ?
I had a second night at the sleep clinic. My AHI was 43 and my O2 sank to 60%. The pressure setting was 10. I will get my RX early next week. I am looking at the PR System One REMstar Pro CPAP Machine with C-Flex Plus and humidifier? I have not picked out a mask yet but I think that info is on my RX...

Battery operated cpap device?
I had my sleep study and the technician told me that I have an abundance of symptoms for OSA. He said I would need the official discussion and diagnosis from my doctor. He said they will schedule me for another overnight test to determine the most appropriate device/mask for me. We do a lot of doond...
