Trying to get an idea of some of the ways folks got into cpap therapy. I understand we have a few folks who took action on her own. Love to see the stats.

Re: Poll: How Prepared Are You Regarding A Cpap Backup Plan
Great topic! Well I'm still new to this "cpap" life style but after 5 weeks and all the fantastic changes going on in my life here is how committed I have become: 3 cpaps, one in each place I live. I work out of town 4 days a week and have an apartment, one at home and one brand new...just incase 2 ...

Just keep tweaking till u get it feeling right. I have not used that mask but starting using the profile lite. Working great for me. I am mostly a side sleeper and made a bit of a discovery that may help u as well. My mask always hurt the bridge of my nose I just could not seem to make it comfertabl...

Re: are you fully recovered after CPAP or still tired?Poll pleas
I picked fully recovered but...after a month I am not sure that can be the case. I am guessing i have had this dam condition for years and just "started" sleeping for the 1st time in say 5, maybe 10 years. I have read much here over the last 30 days about sleep debt and healing...so bottom line is I...

Travel advice please
Guys, hitting the road for 1st time since starting Cpap. Question is on humidifier. Going to Europe for 2 weeks Q1- do you think it would be easer to just travel without humidifier on the unit? Q2 if I use do you think spring water would be ok for 2 weeks? I am guessing it will be a hassle to find d...

No problems with comfort or keeping the mask on. No problem at all sleeping through the night 6-7.5 every night... Until week...

Re: Why do some folks take to cpap so quickly and others do not?
this really is THE question (or a whole lot that make up the question) I am on week 2, and have only had 1 bad night, i did nothing the conventional way...and this at some level may be a big contributing factor for my success. I picked and bought a machine I researched on my own and it came with 3 d...

Re: HOLY SH*T!!! (a GOOD story!)
Great story! having been in that business for about 3 years there are only 2 kinds of DME's local and regional s that tend to really tend to care about customer service, and the nationals...all about the money! I had the unhappy job of doing a few mergers with the one i worked for, from a best in cl...

Re: Air leaking out of face mask
Hi, I am starting 2nd week and like you use a full mask. I had no leaks at all for the first 6 days and on the 7th fought leaks all night. I think it may have something to do with cleaning, light soap and water every day... I was not doing that now I am. Let's see how that works. Also maybe tweak th...

Re: Week one on cpap. Leak help plz
One more detail. I did take a nap in the afternoon and tried a nose mask for the 1st time but used my full face for night time. Could that little experiment have something to do with it?
Thanks,
Thanks,
