Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - AC/DC adapter?

Thank you Scott_G! I read all of your info and it is great! My spouse uses the Airsense 11and on a recent RV trip, couldn’t use the machine as we forgot the portable battery pack with the inverter and AC plug. Plus, there just isn’t enough room for a large portable battery pack with a plug-in invert...

Re: Airsense 11 and 12 volt Adapter

Thank you everyone! I agree, why does Resmed keep changing the AC plugs?? It would be nice to be apple to use existing DC converters/adapters. I’m going to get a portable power station to use the CPAP in our RV. I don’t want to drain the RV batteries, even though I turn off the humidifier.

Airsense 11 and Sleep Data

Hi, I just got this machine as a replacement. I’ve played with the touch screen and don’t see and data other than number of hours used. I haven’t used the machine yet as it arrived today. The Airsense 10 had AHI, leak data, etc. on the screen. Will Ibe able to access the same data on this machine wi...

Airsense 11 and 12 volt Adapter

Hi, I just got an Airsense 11 to replace my broken Airsense 10. I need a 12 volt adapter and Resmed says that it isn’t available yet with no ETA. Has anyone had success using another cord or are you just plugging it into an inverter? We’re going camping for 5 nights and would like to use the machine...

Which machine for newbie?

I have a friend who just had a sleep study and was told that she has moderate sleep apnea. I told her to research machines before they prescribe something that she May not like or may not be data capable. Which machine do you recommend? I have the one in my signature and don't know if there are bett...

Re: Flying Machine

When you go through security, you may have to remove the machine from the case which is why you want to keep it in a one-gallon ziplocbag to protect it. Also, when you board the plane, the gate agent may point out that you have more than one carryon bag. Just let them know that it is medical equipme...

Re: Anyone travel with their daily machine?

The TSA agents haven't been a problem but I have flown on several different airlines recently and had issues at the gate with the attendants. Even after I explained that it was medical equipment, one (US airways) asked me what it was and after I responded, she wanted to know if it was battery or 110...

Re: how do you stop mouth breating from a determined mouth?

I am a mouth breather and have been most of my life. I use the Mirage Quattro Full face mask which works well for me. I tried different mask styles and sizes before I found this one. I think that it helps keep my mouth shut most of the time because of the way that it fits on my chin, below my lower ...

Re: Quattro higher pressure mask issue

Dave, Sorry for the double post. I meant to log in before posting so that my signature would show. I'm curious if you are using the Pad-a-cheek liner for the the bridge of your nose with the Mirage Quattro in your signature or with the FX? I've use the MQ and have had issues with leaking around the ...

Re: AHI is up to 6.7 with CPAP? How to fix it?

Thanks Pugsy and everyone! I'm learning a lot about how to manage my own treatment as well. Since this is most likely a lifetime adventure it's worthwhile! I've been using my CPAP for about 9 months and feeling much better but I'm still a newbie with the technology. I've become a believer and have e...

Re: AHI is up to 6.7 with CPAP? How to fix it?

Thanks for the replies. The pressure setting numbers must have been from Apria's files because they were printed on their pink form. The therapist didn't provide a pressure setting from the machine itself. I have to say that I was dissappointed with Apria's service. We waited almost an hour for the ...

AHI is up to 6.7 with CPAP? How to fix it?

I have a friend who has the same CPAP machine that I do in my signature. She has been using it for about 3 years and recently has been complaining about being tired during the day. She hasn't been checking her readout on the machine. I checked it for her a couple of months ago and her AHI was averag...
