Re: How did YOU Resolve Your Mouth-Leaks? (poll)

I am a huge mouth breather, therefore I've gone to extremes. I use a chin strap and duct tape.

Re: Changing Settings On A Machine

Thanks so much Den and Tony, there is no doubt about that! I'm quite sure that is what is going on.
I would switch providers but my insurance doesn't cover any other neurologist. I'm completely disgusted with them.

Changing Settings On A Machine

Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me how to change the settings on my machine. My settings are currently at 12 but I am still waking up tired and I was thinking about experimenting with the settings. I think I need to be at a 13 or 14 (just making a guess and hoping it will work). Doctor is very uncooper...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.

I have not noticed a great deal of improvement with my CPAP therapy in terms of alertness and wakefulness. Initially, I felt GREAT but after a week that went away. I use my machine RELIGIOUSLY. I haven't been able to afford the software to review my numbers but I am going to do that with the next bi...

I am blogging about my experiences with my CPAP therapy if anyone is interested in reading or commenting. I started 3 days ago and I just want a record o...

Re: How does your boss treat you concerning CPAP?

Reggie White (NFL football player) died from Sleep Apnea. You do not need to be overweight to have sleep apnea. My doctor said I have a very large tongue and very tiny airways so I guess that blows your boss's theory out of the water. What an a-hole!

Re: NEW MEMBER NEEDS INFO!!!

Thank you everyone for your input! I want to be in charge of my own health and not have to strictly rely on a doctor or therapist! I'm sure all of this will be "old hat" in no time!

NEW MEMBER NEEDS INFO!!!

Hi everyone, I am BRAND NEW here. This is the second day I have woken up from using CPAP. How do I find out what my AHI number is that I am reading about? Also, the Respitory Therapists set up my machine for me and told me I didn't need to know any of the information because they have it all under c...
