mmmm. I used the F20 several years ago and gave up on it because it tore up the bridge of my nose, too. I switched to the Resmed Mirage Quattro. I usually replace my mask cushions when the leak rates increase or the leaks start to wake me up. I can usually get 4-6 weeks on a cushion. The answer is no. Different people have different schedules.

To expand on what LSAT said, the constant forced air cpap sends could initially make your lungs sore. I think overtime, your lungs would adjust to the constant pressure cpap therapy provides.

I have always had the problem with the headgear being too big. Whatever mask I used, I needed the largest mask they make for that particular mask, but the headgear was always too big. So, I would have to buy the next size down headgear.
